Probably either two Plasma Pistols or one Plasma Pistol and one Magnum - that's what I would use if I had the choice.

two plasma pistols?????????? are you crazy man.... is the worst combination in halo 2.... one plasma pistol takes down all the shield even if the enemy has overshield activated.... what is the meaning on double plasma pistol???.... do you mean two plasma rifles???? .... sucks too.... you definetely need to play more halo...The best combination is definetely plasma rifle + SMG, and a good combination too is SMG + magnum....

if you're accurate i'd use a pistol and a plasma rifle, plasma rifle takes down shield in 3 shots and then one shot in the head with the pistol or you can just pump as much lead as you can into there head :(if you're not so accurate, i'd use the SMG and plasma rifle (best in close quarter combat)battle rifle goes well with 'nades but this is a dual weapon topic

While the combo i find most powerful is acutally not a dual wileding combo. It's the plasma pistol and the battle rifle. After one fully charged blast from the plasma pistol your opponents shiled will completely diminished . Now all you have to do is switch quickly to your battle rifle and it will only take either 1 shot to the head or 3 shots to their body to kill them. Hope I Helped.

plasma pistol and a smg. best combo for multiplayer. for single player it would be 2 smgs 2 mags, or 2 plasma rifles.

The best dual weapon in terms of killing power and accuracy would have to be the Plasma Pistol and the Magnum. One shot to kill the shields and a headshot to kill the person. Of course, Plasma Pistol and SMG is a good alternative if you're not really good at getting headshots.The best "for fun" combo would be 2 Needlers or 2 Magnums. I like smashing the L and R button a lot and getting a kill in return. Then again, that's just me.

ill have the shotgun and the battleriffle, if you have them really close you can use the shotgun, if u have them far away you can try some headshots with the BR, if you have them fair close, but not enough for using Shotgun then you can use BR as a SMG

Short range: two magnums. Especially in Multiplayer.Medium range: Plasma pistol and SMG.Long range: Plasma rifle and Brute plasma rifle.
