Definitely. Pokemon made Gameboy famous, but that's only because sooo many people play it. Mostly it's popular among kids around 5-7 years old. They get addicted to this game. There was hardly any decent games at the time it first came out with Pokemon uhhh.. Blue I think. But by now, I see no reason for most people to be obsessed with pokemon anymore, now that there's a lot of other decent games for the GB series out there.

Yes, the first time i heard gameboy because of the famous Pokemon. Back to the past when i was a child, all of my frens and me played Pokemon Blue or Red on GBC (what a memories.. Hahahaha)

nope. The gameboy was famous BEFORE pokemon, just the pokemon games managed to boost the console's fame.

Pókemon always have people, that increase the popularity of the consoles of Game Boy, although the GB have wonderfull games like Metroid, Zelda and others.

I'd say Pokemon made GBA popular. Not just FF made it popular, but Pokemon was a big part of making GBA popular. But now Nintendo for Pokemon they're focusing on making more Pokemon games for DS.

Yeah, i have to say that Pokemon made gameboy famous. I remember when i was younger, "pokemon" was the cool thing. If you didnt own a gameboy and pokemon you we're not cool. You know what im saying the big grey gameboys. lol

I think that Pokemon made the Gameboy more famous like other games (Zelda, Metroid...).But it didn´t made the Gameboy famous, it made it only more famous.

Yup, I think it was Pokemon that made it so well-known. I knew of Gameboy before, but didn't really mind it until I saw someone playing Pokemon with it. Then I got hooked.

I'm pretty sure pokemon does make Gameboy and the whole gameboy series famous. For each nintendo handheld console there is always lyk a few pokemon games. Pokemon is the best on gameboy anyway.

From the looks of it...yes...I think that Pokemon really made GBs famous because it makes others really buy the console and the game to play and besides it is very addicting and enjoying because you are like caring for babies and fight them...well that's it but over-all yes...it made GBs famous...^^,
