frankly speaking, the first ff series i played is ff9. then ff8, ff6 n ff5(anthology i think cant remember)ff4 ff2 n ff1(gba) i try to play ff7 but i dunno why i dun like it...sorry for ff7 fanatics out there

i think ff9 unpopularity is because the main character is just a kid. oh well, still, ff9, just as stated above, has not favored more players.. IMO..

Final Fantasy 9 is the best Final Fantasy that has been made so far!, The only reason that people don't talk about it is because hardly any people really have played it. It's one of those hard to get games...

my fav is ff XI .. really impress when its release on ps2is the upcoming ff is still an exclusive title to Sony ?

I hated ff9 with a PASSION. The characters were stereotypical....too cartoony for my tastes and the story line sucked! in my most humble opinion....FF7, FF8, FF10 and FF12 were all kick-arse games...

I thought FF9 was very fun, but the ending was a bit lacking. The whole add campaign kept going on about the crystals being back and then we don't see them 'til the end of the game. Not to mention the last boss didn't really have anything to do with the rest of the game, so it was hard to feel really satistied by beating it.

FFIX was a great game but my bro helped me play halfway and save over my file and caused me not to know what to do next at all! lame rite? I wanted to start over but my disc1 was broken and this coupled with lazyness was the reason y i didn't play it much.. but it was definately enjoyable, especially the begining (when i stil know what i was doing LMAO..

ff9 wasnt really that great, but it wasnt terrible either. ff8 still beats it, but looking back, i honestly have no idea howi played a game with such awful graphics

i think final fantasy VII is the most popular. until now a lot of final fantasy VII sequel has been made.

OMG OMG OMG FF9 is my all time favorite game. Everyone and their brother should play this game. When I beat it, my world had different meaning. . .it changed my life.

ff9 is so much better than 7 or 8 but it came out when the PS2 had just launched i believe thats why it wasnt as popular

Wow. Such diffirent opinions then the FFWikia.I have never played any of the titles your discussing, but for me the best is 9. Its the perfect last hurray of the truely good FF games.

maybe for some of us, this game is the least popular in the FF series BUT just like Jester666, final fantasy ix is also one of my favorite game.

i like ff9. not my favorite. but it was a good game. it was a good taste of past games
