Is FF9 the least popular in the FF series??

I adored FF9 and 8, I hated FF7. I'm a junction god on 8, so nothing was trouble x3 If people dislike it, they didn't bother trying it. Since it has a deep story, even if people were anxious about FFX, they could of played it to ease their wait.

Well I think FFIX wasn't so bad. The least popular would actually be Crystal Chronicles for the GCN. That game..was...just horrible.

i actually like IX. VIII, in my opinion, is the worst of all FF's they released on the PSX. espcially since this system had IV, V, VI and VII

Final Fantasy IX was a great game. The music is what made it stand out for me.

FF 9 is my second favorite, I think that Final Fantasy 2 is the least popular in the series really.

9 was great. 5 sucks the most out of any FF I've ever played.

It really depends on the person. Personally, I love FFIX, its actually one of my favorites and I like it alot more than I like 7 & 8 but that dosen't potray to everyone since I have people who like 7, love 9, and hate 8. Then there are the people who love 7 and 8 but hate 9. It goes back and forth you know.

FF IX is my fav actually; in fact I liked FF7's futuristic-yet-steampunk setting much less. The medieval settings work for me best

No I really think FF 10-2 was the worst. 9 wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst in the series.

I loves all about Final Fantasy series.... especially FF VII....FF 9 is a great RPG game too.. I like that game..

I only got to play the begining of FF9. but from what i played it was good.

I really liked 9 8 wasnt as good casue the ending was sad and the main char was a bit of a n00b

Final Fantasy 9 was my favorite. I think what I liked most about it was that it was fun, lighthearted, and truly a "fantasy," unlike ff8 and ff7. They were good games, don't get me wrong, but they strayed away from the fantasy aspect of it, in my opinion.

I agree. FF9 probably is not the least popular FF. FF Mystic Quest is probably one of the least popular.

WHAT? FF9 is certainly not the least popular, FF8 is the one with all the bad reviews (the story sucked). I LOVE FF9. FF9 and 7 are my faves

I still like FF9 but it was a lot easier than 1-8 and 10+ , people seem to dislike it just because they have to spend a lot of time getting abilities.
