The only music talent i have is playing the flute. I was sixth chair in middle school. Other than that, I tried the guitar and sucked.

I am a keyboardist, who also plays the Viola, and the Ocarina. I play entirely for myself, my dog, my family. I have no desire to sit around and play for a bunch of people. If I were in a band, I'd rather be a back-up band for the singing group on stage.

Well I play the trumpet, but I only started at the start of last year and I'm at a pretty high level. I managed to pick it up pretty fast, but I'm not sure whether everyone else is the same. But I love playing the trumpet, it's a really fun instrument to play.

Singing is my musical talent, that and piano, but I actually want to learn how to play the violin. There's something about orchestral music that just gets me.

I only do Metal, i can play drums and guitar really fast, but dont have the skill to actually play a song, i cant play fast and change my fingers on a guitar or play in a rhythem on drums! I can do super fast kick pedals though! but, my true talent, and i use the word talent sparingly, is singing, or more, screaming and growling! I do a style known as deathcore, very fast, very deep, most people find it extremely unsettling! Wanna know what it sounds like look it up! Bands like I Declare War, Impending Doom, Waking The Cadaver!

I've been playing flute since 5th grade, and people in my small town would say I had lots of talent--but I didn't think I was all that great. Now that I'm a freshman in college and taking flute lessons, I'm starting to really branch out and do things I couldn't before.I dabble on other instruments. Alto sax in our college Marching band/Pep band, mostly. But I've got guitar, piano, and percussion behind me, too.

I have no musical talent whatsoever. I tried piano for two years but found out I don't have the patience for it. I don't even sing, but I do hum quietly, sometimes when I don't even know I'm doing it.

So yeah, do you have any musical talent and do you display it in anyway?I play the guitar and sing. I'm in a band we play metal and hard rock, I play the guitar and provide back up vocals. In addition to that, I have sung a few songs for other bands on some ocassions. Not too long ago I sang for a band that played at a restraunt. I just sang two songs but I enjoyed myself. I've always felt calm and happy when performing or even practicing. I dunno, it's always something to do.What about you folk?

I play the flute, and I can not sing

Is the cat in the box alive or dead?

If you open the box, you will know the answer.

You will know the truth.

However, until you open the box, you can claim that the cat is alive, and you can also claim it is dead.

I was actually good at playing the piano but I didn't like it really. Back in school days we had music lessons and that's where I learnt to play the keyboard and piano.

I can play the entire brass family, except I still struggle with French horn and Trombone. I started playing trumpet in 5th grade (11 years ago), tuba since 9th grade, euphonium since I entered college, and I've been learning the other two primary brass instruments in the past year. I am not skilled enough with transposing for the french horn, as I grew up reading music for trumpet (whole step above) and tuba (concert pitch), transposing to the fifth of every note is quite tough. As for trombone, I can play it, but haven't figured out all the slide positions. I've also been playing piano for 4 years. So, yes, I like to think I'm musically inclined.

i've been playing piano for 14 years, thanks to my mother's efforts. I hated it until I started noticing girls. Now its amazing. Around 15, I also discovered Earing instead of using sheet music as an insane musical shortcut. I also have played the trumpet for about 6 years (i had a '76 stradivarius =o) but gave it up.. Dabbled a bit in french horn during one of the marching seasons, but that was a marching french horn and not nearly as pretty, don't think it counts. Oh, and guitar, for about 6 months. which i'm not good at yet =/. Overall though, yeah, i think i'm pretty good musically. But I think everyone can be 'good' at music. its just about finding the instrument that fits you, the way you need music explained in your brain (sheet music, tabs, etc.), and the ability to recognize pitch. (no one is actually "tone deaf" unless they have a genuine hearing problem. They're just "tone ignorant".)
