Which one did you get? I have a slim PS2, it's really handy when you have a bunch of other consoles in that little cabinet under the TV. Its also super light, and portable as well.

i have big one and satisfy with it. i don't like small one since it looks fragile and cant use external drive, which is handy for storing iso games.

Slim one, so much easier if I need to take it somewhere, no to mention the fact that they only had the slims in stock when I needed one.

I never had a problem with mine. It would rarely overheat, but most of my friend's Bigger PS2's overheat quickly. =/

I had a big PS2 until it started giving me disc read errors on pretty much any disc. My slim PS2 has yet to break, but it's only been a year or two. One of my friends did break his slim PS2 by stepping on it - a big PS2 (or, worse, an XBOX) would have broken him instead.

Same thing happened to me. My big PS2 were already having read errors and I had it checked out and it was due to the driver chip and lens busted. A good thing that the store I went to have it checked proposed to swap my unit with a slim version but I have to add cash money for it. I didn't hesitate to grab the opportunity due to the games that I have that I still need to finish.

I have the slim one, and I like it that way, it makes the trek of carrying it from its hiding place in the basement to the living room so much more easy.
