I have a big original PS2 because they were the only ones out when i got mine and i dont see a point in getting a slim now.

I think that the big ps2 has more chance to break(even worse if you don't understand how it works like me) than the slim one. I got a slim one after the big one broke. I just couldn't let go of ddr! T_T

The slim ps2 had a better design, could fit in more places, and was, for some reason, often more durable.

I got mine later so I only had the slim option. I would prefer the bigger one because it can actually cool itself off. Slim runs better though I must say.

I've owned both the big PS2 and the slim PS2. The big PS2 can take a fall or a bump much better than the slim model, but the slim model lasts much longer provided you dont drop it. I found the big PS2 would get full of dust and jam up much sooner than the slim one.

I prefer the slime becouse it was to littele estetics but the big is to much resitently

The slim ones are newer and more improved. they dont need as much vent room, they save space, the dvd reader is slightly better( i still use my laptop for dvds though) and they are more durable. They are more durable my cousin lives on the thirty third floor of a building and my nephew thew the system out the window

The big one is the one I have but my cousin has the slim one. He says it overheats, so i say the big one is better.

I really don't like the slim PS2, I guess it's because the first PS2 I had was a slim and it would overheat after just a few hours of playing. I had to prop it up and keep a fan on it if I wanted to play for a long period of time. And so, I now have a big one that lets me play as long as I want and keeps me very happy =)

The big one so i get to play ps1 games and save on a ps1 memory card while the slim one does not allow you to do so
