Slim PS2. The big PS2's don't always play all games, mainly new games. They most likely to be at least version 50001 to play newer games (i have seen a 30001 that played them all but it all matters on the version of the system. It should say on the bottom sticker.)

The slim one is much better than the fat one because its more portable not saying that you can take it with you where ever you please, it has a built in network adaptor, it doesnt collect as much dust as the fat one (when standing up it only collects very few dusts) , and it looks nice.

i have big one and satisfy with it. i don't like small one since it looks fragile and cant use external drive, which is handy for storing iso games.

I have the big PS2 and I'm fine with it. It rarely even overheats on me...I don't trust myself with a slim one :D

Which one did you get? I have a slim PS2, it's really handy when you have a bunch of other consoles in that little cabinet under the TV. Its also super light, and portable as well.

The fat one is heavier so it won't get stolen as easily, the small one overheats super fast, and is easier lost. It is also flimsy, and cant support some of the features that the fat ones can... FATTYS RULE!

Slim one is hell. They traded usability for compactability. The thick PS2 has a stronger-built body than that of it's slim counterpart, and has a self-cooling system built into it, whereas the slim one doesn't. The self-cooling system ties into game time. Without it, the slim PS2 can only run, at most, 8-9 hours. The thick can run 2-3 days from what I can tell.

The Slim PS2 had a ethernet box already in the back, so i vote for that, didnt have to go through the bother of buying one

I like the big one and I have a big PS2. I never have problems with my PS2 so there is no reason for me to change it. My big PS2 is reliable and I don't get errors unless the disc is scratched up.

I own the slim PS2 just because i got it late but i rather the slim just because i could carry it around easier and i see it well built the big Ps2 is just a waste of time basically if u drop it your gamming days are over ive seen it happen penlty of time but that just my opinion big or slim doesnt matter to meh as long as i have some to play with :( - .Duece
