I have two big ones and I got it before the slim ones came out so I didn't have a choice. e_e;;

the big ps2 is actually better cause of it's external drive. if you played some game such as crash bandicoot on the small one sometimes it will freeze but when used with the big one there will be no freezing of games unless your big ps2 just sucks

I realy like the slim version of PS2, why is that you say, becuse i like the network that are in the PS2, you dont need to buy a... i dont realy know the word so i say add-on, thats it for me.

With the larger, old style PS2 I can use an HDD + HD Loader to play games from the Harddrive so that my laser doesn't wear out. I definitely prefer my big-un. ;)

the slim ps2 was released way later than the big one and therefore they had plenty of time to make it more durable against time.

The problem with the slim ps2 is tat they can't last long, if you leave it on for too long, it'll practically burn your game disc, at least the big fat ps2's got a cooling unit, the only thing that'll burn is the adapter, and it's not as heavy as you think, unless you're a weak person.

I'll stick with my full-size PS2. I've just seen too many cases of tthe PS2S having major cooling issues.

For me its the big one.. I feel the slim one has higher chances for getting damaged.

Slim one is better after a couple of months my big ps2 had disc error...and it skipped too much...so slim hands down wins it

man its obvious! slim ps2, having the fat ass old version is like having an xbox or 360! geez its soo big and fat, i cant believe people can handle such a big machine and sometimes even carry it around!
