Which one did you get? I have a slim PS2, it's really handy when you have a bunch of other consoles in that little cabinet under the TV. Its also super light, and portable as well.

I prefer a big ps2 a golden one.

I have both. I started with a fat model right around launch time, and I modded it with a fliptop for import gaming, but it started to wear down after a few years. I then bought a new US slim and a used Japanese slim, with a total cost of less than what I paid for the fat model.

The big PS2 Takes up way to much space where as the slim PS2 can sqeeze in just about anywhere.

The slim is so much lighter and nicer looking. I prefer it like 1000times over the big one.

I used to have the big one but the sound got screwed up on it so I bought the slim one.I definitely love the slim one, and it even comes with the adaptor in it so you don't need to buy one to play online.

I like Slim better because I had to buy PS2 for 3rd time since Big PS2 always unable to read or burned disc. Now, I don't have any problem with Slim PS2 since I bought it like 4 or 5 years ago.

I have both. I prefer the slim because of the fact that it is so light, but i am always afraid that i am going to pull it off of the shelf when i am playing with a wire controller. I dont use the brick (big ps2) as much anymore so i gave it to my dad.

Slim all the way. I had one of the original big ones, but this year I bought a slim one to take with me to college. The big one has constant read issues (it's one of the earlier generations), and the slim is running fine, even though I bought it refurbished. Plus, the built-in network adapter is nice. I didn't have to pay another $100 for an HDD and a network adapter to play games like Monster Hunter online. Of course, there's also the smaller size, though I'd almost wish it were bigger so I wouldn't be so likely to jerk it off the shelf or have it stolen.

I used to have the big one, i like the design on both the reg. one and the slim one. But as some of the other members already mention, the slim one is really convenient if you have other consoles or have a tiny room that don't fit that much stuff. I dont like the design of the PS3 tho. =X

I own the slimmest one. However, you know (maybe you don't) that there are 3 different types of PS2's:1.) The big fat PS2 with the slideout disc tray (the one that was first released)2.) The slimmer PS2 that came out not too much later to reduce size; this still had the slideout disc tray (most people own this one)3.) The slimmest PS2 that is obviously much slimmer than the others and has a pop-up disc tray (for lack of a better word)

. the bigger one because it can play scratched cd's and it's way more reliable and durable than that skinny "sleek" one .
