Bioshock made me throw my controller across the room like a sissy girl in fear.The only game that has ever made me jump was in RE2 the birds fly in through a window. It caught me by surprise and I actually jump. No other game has ever managed to do that.Anyone else ever been surprised like that by a video game?

There was a N64 game called Hexen that made me jump because as a child, i never liked gore and that game made me jump, piss my pants, and gave me nightmares for 4 weeks...i was totally frightened by the gameplay. I dont know why my sister even bought the game...

Left for dead, when the hunters just tackle you and starrt eating you. i was in a train ocne and i swear it jumped through a window out of the dark to hit me and then i was dead instantly.

I have actually gotten scared playing call of duty; i was in a room no one was around i can see or hear anyone (turtle beach), i am only concentrating on the game when i turn around to see someone lunging at me.

When playing Fatal frame, I walked down rope hallway and right when I take out camera to check out mirror, no damn songs were playing and such and the broken neck ghosts popped out of nowhere and scared the crap out of me

i played sh4 and that made me scared until i found BLOOD for PC and that made my skin creep. Blood's music and the game play makes a creepy combo.

RE2 when walking down the hallway in the police station, when all the arms pop thru n try n grab u. scared the crap outta me when i was a kid lol

I didn't 'jump' but I must say, opening the body bags in Arkham Asylum and meeting both Bruce Wayne's parents and the Scarecrow was a bit of a shock. I definitely did not expect the scarecrow to pop out of that third bag.

I still remember when I got Resident Evil 4(for GameCube), I didn't know what kind of game it is since Ive played rated M games in the past I didnt pay that much attention to the case. Resident Evil - Those Giant Tarantulas and Hunters really caught me by surprise. I HATE SPIDERS DAMMIT :(Land of the Dead Road to Fiddlers Green also gives me the creeps.
