Depends on the game. On Fallout 3 I go for high INT and AGL on most builds. On games like Disgaea I mainly stick with STR and SPD oriented characters.
Strength, Agility, Intelligence etc. Which will you pump mainly?

I don't really prefer one stat over the other,so I try to keep it all as even a I can.

I like spreading the parameter spread out. I want my characters to be balanced. But in SRPGS I tend to buff speed up the most. I want to make a move before the enemy does.

On non-turn-based games, I normally pump AGI to increase attack speed. In turn-based games I focus mainly on Defense and Strenght

I have been called reckless when I play games with manual stat pumping because I usually bum rush everything, but I usually try to balance everyone based on what I need them for, be them heroes or fodder.
