I imagine that it would be something like you visiting your friends' farms, but with HM out on the DS and coming out for the Wii (and the DS), I was wondering what you guys thought of a Harvest Moon with multiplayer capabilities.

yes it would be nice.....i really like harvest moon FOMT and harvest moon ds like they are my favorite

I've been working on FOMT, but I cannot get HM DS yet. :(So far, I've been enjoying FoMT. I first started with HM64 and was bothered by the fact that I didn't have enough money to actually DO anything, lol.

Multiplayer would be awsome, but they should also give an EXTENSIVE character creation, so that its not clones of the same guy. Kinda like the Monster Hunter equiptment.

to me the idea of multiplayer would end up being like the animal crossing (GC) multiplayer. besides pick apples or meet the other villagers at someones farm, what else would you do?

i played one version of harvest moon and i liked.. i think it was "harvest moon:save the homeland".. i don't remember exactly the name of the game but it was cool.. i think that i still have that game.. however it will be more interesed if they made it for two players or on-line better

I also think it'd be nice to have a mode where you and your friend have a farm that you're working on together. The saves would be kept separate, and you could only play it when you and your friend linked up.Edit: Sorry for the partial necromancy. The idea came to me and I thought I had to share it.

Write to them and tell them this. Tell them what all it should have as multiplayer. See what they think.I think that, if enough people ask them to do it, they will. I, for one, would like to see both implemented in the same game. I would love raising a farm with a friend.if it comes out on the wii it better have it lol I will be pissed if it doesn't lol

they kinda of already have multplayer but a multplayer where u can vist other peoples farms wouldnt make sence because u are playing as the same person as everyone esle and how can u and ur friend marry the same person

Haven't played Harvest moon since "Back to Nature" (PS1) I think online would get me to finally buy a new one.

Yes, i think it would be really nice, but there will be alot of things to remember when making the game:-HUGE map for every online player.-Privacy.-More ways to get money.-It must be different from every other Harvest Moon or else you know all the secrets.and so on...and so on...so you see: it takes alot of work to think up something compared to that. and if you look at all these needs, its almost impossible.

well i think of a different kind; as if we link to eachother and have our farm added to the other person, and you can marry them!! lol. and well there should be more things added though.

man, Harvest Moon multiplayer would be the best girlfriend game ever.I'd rather it be co-op working on the same farm than visiting other player's farms. Maybe have the other player appear as an npc if they're not playing.

You know, you might be on to something! The idea has potential. How exactly this'd work out though.... I'm not so sure. I mean, visiting other farms is all fine and well, but what would you do there? Help out, or just walk around?
