Was my favourite book as a kid. The movies were enjoyable, but they don't compare to the books.

i love the books of HP, i was a fan before everybody else had heard of it and you can find all titles in my bookshell. My son loves the movies and i have seen them that many times i get very bored of it.However, i can't say they are the best youth books i have ever read, there are so many more... ther is a liberary more to explore!

i love the books but very mad with the movies. due to poor explanations and wanting to make more money, they split the last movie into 2 parts! lord of the rings 3 was long but they didnt split it into 2 parts to make more money! the books are way better!

I think the Harry Potter books are great, but Daniel Radcliffe does a horrible job of portraying the actor. The books really create an exciting atmosphere that is enjoyable by kids and adults. The long, detailed nature is such that you just cannot stop reading! It's so bad that the series has come to an end.

YEAH, I'm a BIG fan of Harry Potter series! Both the book and movie! The movie may seem a little bit disappointing but the book rocks! I like Harry, Ginny and Serius Black!

yes, this series is the ultimate, the struggle between good and evil tears at the seems of my heart. the intense symbolism between harry and he-who-should-not-be-named is beautiful.

I only read 1 and a bit of 2. But that's it. I didn't find it FANTASTIC. I just thought they were the same old average books. That's it really. It's not bad but not too good either. I couldn't understand why everyone hyped about it so much. But if so many people like it, I guess there must be something special about it. Just doesn't interest me though.

Harry Potter is okay. I have all of the books in hardcover. I did enjoy reading them, but I would not say that I am a fanatic. I haven't read them in a while though... I have only watched 2 of the movies, and seeing the rest of them is not really on my to do list.

I like the harry potter books alot, and the series means alot to me because before them i hated reading, after i read the first book. . . . well I havn't stoped reading since. when i think of all the stories i would have missed out on if I had never learnd to love books, well it makes me sad

I obsess over it sssoo much, i don't have the first four books so i just read the other three over and over again to make up for it :rolleyes:But Harry Potter is definitely mmmuucchh better than stupid TwilightAnd I wish J.K. Rowling would make a continuation, it's just one of those books that you don't want to end, you know what I mean?

I've only read the first four books, and I like them. The books have this ability to feed your sense of imagination, which I enjoy a whole lot.And then, it became overly popular. It annoyed me that some of the most irritating people started obsessing over Harry Potter, and I did not want to associate myself with them. So I cut myself away from the series. I know it's a little drastic, but that's what I do. I may start reading the books once again though, when it stops being a fad.

I cant say i ever read the books apart from one which i only got half way through and the movies wer alright but im assuming not as good as teh books by what everyone always says and tbh i only watched all teh movies because i saw the first oen and then had to finish the series
