Same as the above, I like the wireless but in the back of my head I still worry about the batterytime. With Wii it's essential to have a wireless control when you jump around and punch in the air. I don't mind the cord but now that I have a doggie at my house I'm a bit worried that I will find him chewing on everything.Hands auf my games!

I prefer wireless controllers because they take up less space. However, the negative thing about wireless controllers is it requires batteries.

depends, games where you will naturally want to move around more-wieless, you can button mash with one hand for text based story progression (ie FF VII long story sequences....) but if its action packed and your glued to the seat, wired, no batteries and no lag or interference.

Definitely wireless , even if older consoles had wireless controllers it'd be awesome, but only if they integrated the newer wireless tech into it. I heard that some older systems actually had wireless controllers but the recognition was awful. Todays systems don't have that same problem with it at all.

I actually prefer these newer wireless controllers as I can move anywhere while gaming without dealing with the cord. I only like this when I have a rechargeable battery pack installed though. I don't want to have to keep buying batteries. The PS3 doesn't have this issue but the battery packs for Wii and Xbox 360 are fairly cheap so either way it's not that big of a problem. The only downside is that with most rechargeable controllers, you can't charge while the system is off unless you use your computer to do it.

Wireless. But it would be cool if they could design the controllers in such a way as to let users recharge internal batteries already set into the controller.

I'd have to go with wireless; as they can technically be both if you decide to charge it while playing.

I may have to say corded controlers because it doesn't need batteries.

I like wireless, but when you wanna play a single player who won't leave i chose cord, and less wifi problems cuz you share same internet.

Corded controlers, because I hate it when my controler runs out of juice in the middle of a fight.

well i have a play and plug controller for the 360. So it really consist of both. I prefer it over a wireless controller and a corded controller because sometimes you just want a wireless controller because the wire always get tangled and sometimes you want a corded controller because you dont always have to put batteries in them.So i really like the play and plug controllers over a wireless or a corded controller.

I would definatley always go for the corded controller. Mainly because I don't have to keep buying batteries everytime they ran out. Also, I am just more familiar with the corded controller because I have used that almost exclusively.

I believe the question here is 'Why not wired'. Ever since owning the wii and currently the PS3, playing without 'wires' are a god send. Not only is it so comfortable to not worry about the controller tugging the console to it's death and position your controller in any position, it's also so nice to place the controller in an organized place within the desk and just pick it up without plugging the thing back to the console.Course the upside for wired controllers is that you don't have to worry about the batteries, but this advantage cannot outweigh the advantage of the wireless controllers.

i like both the wired and wireless controllers. wireless is good for long range and if you need to move. wired is good because you don't need batteries.

No Debate. Wireless all the way. I mean i can hardly sit down for more than a few minutes without having to move. Thats when its nice not to have to worry about using a cord.
