I prefer corded controllers, because you don't have to worry about recharging batteries.

personally i like wirless controllers because, wires get all tangled up and wireless you can be anywhere in the room while wired you have to be close to the console to play.

definitely a hard question. on one hand, i don't play sitting on a couch, but laying on my bed, so wireless is useful since i don't need a cable stretching all the way to the console and tv across the room..but on the other hand, wired can be useful for lack of signal delay, making sure the controller doesnt die, etc....so sort of a coin toss ^^;
