Best Race in Starcraft

I like all of them but i prefer Protos because my favourit unit is the Dark Templar and the Carrier also

welli dont think there is a best race, but i think protoss is my favourite because one builder can create lots of buildings quickly

For me, I would think that Protoss would is a better raise to choose because of its unique unit Dark Archon, which can make any enemy unit yours. You simply make an enemy builder to become yours. Then you can build everything that race can.

i liked Protoss. you could build tons of Photon Cannons and self-sustain your base against almost anything.Can't wait until SC2 comes out!

PRotoss is awsome... They are fairly strong, and they have shields. Although technically they're armor is weaker and health is easier to defeat to start... the shields make the Zealots harder to kill then Zerglings (although with Zerglings you can swarm in mass...) ... ok, so it seems harder to decide which race is the best now that I think about it.. I suppose there IS no best race.. because even though you may like one.. every race has their advantages and drawbacks...what they lack in one place they make up for in another, so any race is good, so long as you learn to use them well.

it's either terren or protoss for me, terren as they are easy to build up and continue, and protoss because of it's superb defences and army building and transporting.

Ever noticed how they have more buildings? Their tech-tree is considerably slower and a lot less stable.

The thing is, you NEED to build tons of Photon Cannons to have a defended base.

Protoss have the worse defences in game.

As far as concept goes, I think the Zerg are the coolest. As far as gameplay goes, however, I think they're all about equal.

terran cuz theyre good for microing. special abilities are pretty nice too

Protoss is for beginners becuase they are fast and very easy to use. Then comes the Marines, then comes Zerg. Zerg is best for mass attacks. (all in my opinion) Protoss can't have as many units as Zerg because each unit is really strong and really eats up the population max. Protoss is really cheap. They have the best(cheapest) unit in the game, the Carrier. a team of those are a ***** to defeat.

That strategy doesn't work against anyone with a brain. Try using that on someone who knows what the word 'defence' means.

• Zerg HAVE to mass attack because their units are weak.
• If Protoss units didn't use more Psy than Zerg units use Control, the game would be f***ing broken.
• How is Protoss cheap? Do you mean tactics or resources?
• Carriers? My wraiths/scouts laugh at the word.

Why?

Though I usually prefer the zerg, I have recently enjoyed using Terran for 3 reasons1) The marine/medic/siege tank/tank hopping combo which in my opinion is the best combination that the terrans have since marine+stim-pack+medic will take out most infantry/air units and tanks will take care of ranged units such as reavers and other tanks. Of course Sci-vessels should also be included as they provided good support through detection and emp shockwaves.2) Ghosts and Nukes: Though it is pretty challenging to pull off, I just love the sound of consecutive announcements of "Nuclear Launch Detected" especially with 4 or more simultaneous launches.3) Comstat Station: Ranged recon is always a plus

I personally dislike the Zerg, though they have their uses. I like the Terrans for the bunker/missile turret/seige tank defense combo and the opportunity to use medics. Wraiths are also lots of fun. I enjoy the Protoss also, but they require a little more finesse in management, I think, because the units cost more. Carriers trump Battle Cruisers, though...I mean, really, shouldn't a "Battle Cruiser" have more than just one cannon? Sigh...

i prefer terrans just because i like to mass produce battlecruisers (air superiority )

I prefer Terran, they the best because of thei nuclear misille, batlecruiser and tanks, with broodwar expansion they're even better while they can heal injuries in infantry units

Terrain are the best no body can beat the nukes lol

they are well balanced but i still like protoss and stealing an enemy build unit with dark archon and using their own units as well as my protoss units... someone must do something about it i guess almost at everygame it takes my first priority to steal one builder...
