Do you think Pokemon D/P should've been made for Gameboy Advance as well?

I don't really mind either way, but I think to have Pokemon D & P for the DS was a better idea because it took advantage of the dual screens, touch screen, and better graphics of the DS to make for a more interesting Pokemon gameplay than the same old way of playing.

I think there should have been a GBA D/P game. It got really annoying the way we had to keep tapping at the touch screen most of the time.Graphic quality may have been poorer than the DS ones, but still, it would have been bearable, especially since we had played most of the games on GBA/VBA.

I really don't think so cos i love the design & graffic of DS !! It's would be less worthy for D/P pkm to be played on a GBA !!

Buissness wise, they may have made the right choice not to. But from the perspective of a gamer, it should have been made for both. Really, ot should have just had extra features and better graphics in the DS version, like maybe take away that one island (forget what it's called) on the GBA version.

There should be a new pokemon on gba, but pokemon Diamond requires two or more screens.

I think they did the right thing with making Diamond and Pearl only available for DS, since it follows the trends that Nintendo has set out since the beginning you know? Original Gameboy - Pokemon Red/(Green)Blue/Yellow and then moving on to Gameboy Color - Pokemon Silver/Gold/Crystal, and further even onto Gameboy Advance - Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald - and now its the DS's turn to have its own Versions so i think Nintendo did the right thing making sure that only DS had the three versions, it was a sales pitch you know...You have to have this system to play this game kind of thing

It would have been nice, because not everyone has a DS.

It would of been a good idea if Nintendo released a version for the GBA, it would of got a lot more sales on release.

Some of the parts of the game wouldn't work on GBA. Everyone should have a DS by now.

I don't think they should release to many games for one console like GBA, think about the improved gameplay and better graphics and new pokemon animations in the game that maybe wasn't possible on the other console.

Well the only thing needed for the touch screen is the occasional choosing of things but really you don't need it. So Pokemon D/P CAN be on GBA too I guess.

Yes, you may be right. It might as well have been better off for the gba. Also, pokemon games will not change THAT significantly as time progresses from their previous generation. The gameplay will change little by little as they make more Pokemon games, but whether you like it or not, they're gonna continue making more for whatever current handheld is available, regardless of whether you have that handheld or not.

I'm of the belief it should have been made for the DS. They released a new system, they have to make games to help sell the new system, not keep giving people a reason to hold on to the old system.Although I do feel for some of the previous posters here - there are games released for systems I don't own that I would love to be able to play.
