Hi, this poll is to figure out which of these ways is the best to go through the game.I have played the 3 versions (blue, gold, ruby), and still is difficult to know if its better to have 1 or 6 pkmns well trained.Add info about types if wish to.

I can't help it, okay? My starter ends up way powerful, and the rest....... :DI catch the legends and use those, though.

id have to say its a lot easier beating the game with one or two super strong pokemon. Although if u want to show off to ur friends or u want to go to battle tower, its not the best thing. Whenever i play pokemon i usually train a strong fire, water and grass pokemon and when i beat the game i start training more the three. Thats just my opinion though.

Well i always train all the pokemon i caught and i have my strongest pokemon in my party(all at the same level and different types) I think that you can't win with 1 strong pokemon you need a good and balanced team and your pokemon in your pc should be trained and not just caught and leave them there hehe.

I try to make a balanced team when I'm going to beat the elite 4 for the first time, then I just train my favorites and store them away in the PC when they're level 100.

Well I mainly use like this one pokemon mainly the starter and make him hyperstrong. I dont't really train any others until beating the pokemon league.

Na, i prefer training all 6 and then thrashing the pokemon league. Then i go to the Battle Tower and with about 4 or 5 of my starting team, train good pokemon there and use them to defeat the Pokemon League all over again. Of course if they can't the originals just have to do the job again... :D

i would rather have 6 balanced pokemon on a party because if you have one really strong pokemon, you would just be using him and destroying everyone, not fun :D ..using a balanced team, you will wanna think about weaknesses and resistance and stuff like that..its way more fun that way :D

I always have 1 hyperstrong Pokemon. He NEVER loses. For me, its just the best tactic.I train my other Pokemon after i beat the leage, in the best training place.

i do remember one thing.
it took hours and hours but.
by the time i was done with it.
i was so involved. i didn't even know what to think.
i carried it around with me for days. and days.
playing little games.
like. not looking at it for a whole day.
and then. looking at it.
to see if I still liked it.
i did.

I just catch the 6 pokemon I want to form a team and train those along with following the storyline. It's the way it 'should be' :). Maybe I should try training one hyperstong animal. Something new....keeps it interesting XD.
