THE BEST WAY : if u have Vsb u can aford to train up to 10 pokemons(its better pokemons with different types) at the same time because its really fast!!just put the game at 400%!! nothin better than training the best pokemons that u can find in your path spending half the time!!the balanced traning is the one who works best for me!the reasons?? SubeyDes & robertearrey said them! :P

balance is key, usually tho, there is an egg or something weak taking up a slot.so balanced 5.balanced is the only way to go. it takes a looong time.if you focus on one and only one,- then leveling up the other ones gets harder and harder as time goes on. it'll get impossible.

Balanced for me, I tried the 1 Strong poke once and didn't like haveing a lv. 66 Poke with the same group as lvl 23'sBalanced may take longer, but in the end, it's the way to go[Note: My Favorate Team was in the Silver Version with Jolteon, Skimory, Dragonite, Gengar, Umboron, and Magmar]

i pick 6 pokemon before i start the game to form a balanced team then as i play through i catch them and raise them as evenly as possible, and i dont use the legendaries because the game gets too easy

For me, the best team is having 6 different pokemon, each from different type (eg. fire, water, bird, bug, eletric, and normal), and keep all of them on the same level. That pretty much balance it.

Yeah once in i think it was pokemon yellow i had a level 60 butterfree and all my other pokemon were in their 20's. I had to restart because i couldnt beat fushcia gym

At the start you should try and catch an abra or a drowzee coz posion is weak against psychic.

I have 6 balanced pokemons, because when you have only a powerful one and it gets KOd those weaklings won't do anything good and will mess up and die...In my team I use those pokemons with two tipes and diferent type attack, for example: A Mawile with vice grip, Fake tears, atract and fire blast, or a Mightiena with rock smash, bite, strenght and dig, thats a good technice because no mather wich pokemon types use your oponent you are ready for action

3 pokemon is best for the game play but a 6 poke team is best for playing real people.

Well, I generally like to keep all my pokemon on equal or close to it on level. A well balanced team generally consisting of different types is the way to go.

Well really when I first started playing pokemon sapphire, i just trained my blaziken and by the time I reached the pokemon league, it was around level 70-80 ^_^ Now I actually use 4-5 balanced pokemon, and 1-2 pokemon for HMs. I always have a fire, grass, water, electric, psychic and dragon pokemon in my team. But not always electric.

In the versions for GBA you really nead a Balanced Team, not like in the other ones when you can let all the hard work to a Mewtwo or another pokemon, in Ruby, Shaphire and Emerald you really need almost 4 diferent kinds of pokemon for beat a Gym Leader, and more for the League
