Have a really good team of 6 pokemon meaning have them at level 100 and then train the rest of the pokemon which are good against the types ur 6PKMN team is bad against.

well i train only the superstrong pokemon's (dragonite,salamence,metagros,my starter...) and when i train 6 of them i go to pokemon league...

I always try to keep my starter strongest, then I turn on my game and like 3 of the other pokemon in my team are 10 levels higher than him D:

i try to have a balensed team but i normally have 1 or 2 pokemon that are a little higher than the rest !!

I generally go for a varied type classing, though after I beat the Pkmn leauge, I go for a new set of Competition-grade Pkmn, usually going for the all-important 'cool factor', while still having a lethal party, with Pkmn like Nidoking, Charizard, Salamence, ect... (Oh, and Fire teams are always fun too...)

i train 4-5 pokemon to level 60ish, and have my starter about 5 levels higher than the others, and i make the team of varied types with few weaknesses(like haunter/gengar). or in emerald i have my starter at level 70ish, rayquaza and groudon/kyogre at level 70ish and then houndoom, amphy and quaggy at level 50-60.

i usally allways keep them all well balanced but i got alot of spare time on my hands so there all really strong. in all the pokemon games ive found my 2nd pokemon right at the begining (cause theres usally bug pokemon) and i like butterfree
