Have you seen AVGN's review on Superman the video game?Ever since that I never played it. Basically (in the review) you fly through rings for a while, then do a couple seconds of a mission, only to fly through more rings later. And if you fail, you fly through MORE RINGS and start all OVER AGAIN!

yeah, the game is horrible, the only thing DECENT are the graphicstheres only one thing i can say about that game,and its that its just plain rude,

I bought that game when it first came out thinking it would be awesome, but was very disappointed. The only thing I kind of enjoyed about that game was the multiplayer.

You got to admit though, there was one great part in the game.The part where you take a hammer and smash the cartrige out of frustration.

Superman for the N64 looked and played like an unfinished homebrew game coded by lobotomized monkeys. The draw distance was far too short, even by N64 standards. The developers came up with a "Kryptonite Fog" excuse for the lameness. You constantly glitched through things, or got stuck on things. One time I got stuck on the outside of an underground level.The controls were a mess. It was like they just randomly assigned functions to buttons. The only intuitive part was that the control stick moves Superman in a direction.The levels and goals were frustratingly bad. Fly through rings? Catch the car moving in a straight line down through empty field? The only challenge was overcoming the bad controls.However, I found Superman for the N64 to be amusing. Glitchy games are their own brand of fun. Superman 64 rates about a 7 on my bizarro scale (Enter The Matrix is a perfect 10).

I've played this game on both the original n64 system and as a rom, must say that it is pretty bad, but kinda good too. Its got that "Rocky Horror Picture Show" campiness to it, if it didn't I wouldn't have played two different ways. I must say, definitely a lot better game on an emulator since you can save the states, thus eliminating the need to redo the whole level over and just start off over and over again from where u get stuck. I don't know if I'll ever play the game enough to beat it, I do know though that it hasn't been the last time that I will.

Almost as good as Big Rigs and E.T. for the Atari! How did you not have fun flying through the rings?
All those pizza, "two for one" deals are really from the government to fatten you up, then when you're too obese to do anything they ship you off to the Red Cross where they rip out your liver and turn it into pepperoni to start the process all over again.

Superman 64 was one of the worst games ever. I'd even rank it below Golden Nugget. Although...even if it had been awesome I would have hated it. I hate Superman. He has too many powers and his weakness is an f'ing rock. That's dumb. He's gotta be the worst superhero ever.

Oh yeah, this really is a contender of the top worst games ever! The gameplay wasn't the best, the movility really...really was bad. And what about the graphics? Well...like a 2 out of 10. It can really be compared with other games..such as the game of Michael Jackson!

It was the second worse game go play action 52 for the nes(i think).I went to rent it at blockbuster b4 I would buy it.....I had nightmares it was horrible worst game i personally have ever played.

This game is awful.It's ugly,and all that I can remember about it is trying to fly through rings.Bad controls bad everything. This was the true death of Superman.
