... Holy crap this sucks. Man... I remember renting this when i was young at a movie gallery. I was so sad and dissapointed. I learned to stay away from super hero games.Though spiderman for the 64 was pretty good. (my opinion) I Think there was a time limit i couldnt get by and the rings where almost impossible to get through. The game also hadglitches every other second. I would rate it a 2/10. not a 1/10 because it wasnt totally horrible, it had storyline and ok graphics, but that was it pretty much.

Worst n64 game ever. No contest.

Crappy everything you can think of. Just terrible.

The game was very stupid, in my case don't ever get this game it's a waste of money and time.

So many people warned me if its crapiness, that I never played it.

i think no one likes this game....... its just a hunch >=)

i think no one likes this game....... its just a hunch O_O

Ya think?http://en.wikipedia....an_64#Reception

ReceptionThe game received overwhelmingly negative reviews from critics. The game was rated as the "7th worst game of all time" in a list created by Sean Reiley in Electronic Gaming Monthly.[5] It also ranked 2nd on G4's Filter in its "top 10 worst games of the '90s". Nintendo Power magazine rated it as the worst game on a Nintendo system.[6] On MTV's Gamer's 2.0, it was rated the #1 worst game of 1999. The game also topped GameSpy's list of the ten worst comic book based video games, as compiled by journalist David Chapman.[7] On GameTrailers, it was ranked #1 as the worst game of all time, just ahead of E.T. for the Atari 2600.[8]Game reviewers focused their individual scores primarily on over-responsive controls in addition to monotonous gameplay. The flight controls are extremely unresponsive, sometimes requiring multiple button presses for a response from the game. Critics found little redeeming value in the game.[9]IGN reviewer Matt Casamassina gave the game a 3.5 out of 10, stating that "it is executed so poorly that it actually serves to butcher the reputation of the prominent action hero."[10] Gamespot gave the game a score of 1.3 out of 10, making it the fourth lowest rated game by Gamespot, declaring that "It serves no purpose other than to firmly establish the bottom of the barrel".[9] Currently, the game holds a 23% from Gamerankings. The game was featured in the Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition 2009 book for lowest rated superhero game.

i rented superman 64 back in the day when it first came out, and my god, it was awful. it was, and still is, the worst game i have ever played.the only game that i have played since that even came CLOSE to being as awful as superman 64 was damnation, a game that recently came out on 360 and i believe on ps3 as well. oh my god, the only thing i could think to compare it to was superman 64. that game sucked.but yeah, that's how bad superman 64 is. it became a whole other LEVEL of suckage for me. it is the bottom of the barrel, the mark below which no other video game could possible crawl.

It's funny that I had a friend that was not a big gamer. He told me that he rented this Superman game for the 64 and that it was so good. Years later I found out it was the infamous Superman 64 that is dreaded. I personally never played it.

I still remember the hype surrounding this game. Heck even BB return of the Joker is better then this game. I agree it is not the worst game ever created, but its a bad joke non the less.

Superman 64 is by far one of the worst games ever. I played it and was stuck on the second level because on how crappy the controls were. Although the multiplayer is better and for my lil bros. its quite fun.

You fly through rings. It just doesn't make sense. They couldn't have designed a worse game. It should be buried in the desert (snicker).

i don't even understand why developers try to make superman games in the first place. he's pretty much invincible. unless all the game villains had kryptonite, how could they even hurt your character...... can superman 64 even be considered a game?

I honestly thought the game was broken when I rented it from Blockbuster. I was like 9 at the time (I can't remember when it came out) and it was the most horrible thing I had and have played in my life. I don't think any game will ever strike me as worse.Oh wait, Bubsy 3D.
