Despite Roy being my favourite character to use, I think Link (adult) would be a better swordsman because his Spin Attack can hit enemies from both sides and also help him jump higher.

well i have to say that roy is the strongest while marth has the longest reach and the links have awesome sub-weapons roy wins because he is the only one i can get to fight crazy hand in classic mode on normal difficulty

Roy and Link because Roy has unmatched power but Link has a variety. If Roy could use other things, he would pwn.

Marth would be the best with his amazing speed you can easily out maneuver and damage your opponent. Link is too slow and although he has all his extra items they really don't make him better with his sword. Roy has his one hit KO but takes too long and can deal a lot of damage but he needs to get closer to deal more damage while Marth would want to keep you back so you get hit with the tip.

link and ylinks swords are too short...marth and roy are quicker and have better range with there swords...but roys critical on his sword is so close to his body he rarely can use it...marths is at the tip of his sword so he can barly tap you and you go flying...id have to say marth is the best...but link is still my faveorite...
