Marth is stronger then Roy.His sweet spot(the tip) gives out more dmg then Roy's Sweet spot (the mid near hilt), butmost ppl find it harder to tip with Marth.And that makes Roy easier to use and since imma noob...Marth/Roy are true Swordmasters compaired to Link, b/c all their skills rely on their sword skills. Link has sword skills but has other things like bombs, arrows n stuffso...number 1 swordsman is...1). Roy2). Marth3). LinkMarth is too good and too top tier for me to use x]Roy FTW!!=D

Marth. Long reach and fast speed is the whole point of using a sword. Link has nice fun attacks but Good Marth player is cheap cause as long as you dodge well and time the dash smash right the other guy is gone.Unless its Jigglypuff or the snowkids

it really depends but i would say marth overall. His sword does more dmg at the tip and using that extra range can really make him a tough nut to crack. Especially if you use the counter move properly. I have used him to beat many event matches.

roy ftw with the gold/yellow outfit i like to use it a lot its my main caracter cuz of the power it has and he can do 3 spike moves 
adn he has his hit point at the middle of the blade then it would be link cuz hes so balanced then it would be young link and at last marth

Nothing can compare to marth, especially considering links main gameplay comes from his bombs/boomerangs..

Marth has been proven to be more efficient than Link and actually stronger than Roy. Plus, his sweetspot helps in keeping rival fighters far away from him. His speed and sweetspot helped him rise up into the second highest tier in competitive Smash Bros. While hes one of the best fighters, he has a major projectile weakness. Link, in spite of his lower tier ranking, does somewhat well against him.
