2D games are better because some game developers now seem to think that "good graphics" are more important than a fun game.

graphics is good when i'm just watching people playing but when you're behind that controller it's all about gameplay. but i usually go for pretty things so i'd say 3d but still i love the classics so they get a vote each. =P

I like both 3D and 2D because sometimes I want to enjoy some classic graphic and sometimes 3D

2d is nice... but i like 3d more. I hope games get far more complex than they are right now. They are so simple.

Both kinds are great actually^^, you can have some outstanding 3d games just like you can have some magnificent 2d ones. The only problem is that with the 3d becoming so good, some people think the better the graphics the beter the game and eventually the story and actual game ain't that good, except for the videos and etc, as ni the 2d their main probleme was the story itself so poeple would be captivated by the game even though graphically it wasn't the best.

3d.. 2d motion is limited while there are many possibilities in 3d.. and 3d has more potential to a good game play..

i liek the 3d games but now there getting with much more crappier games i mean yes its in 3d so what when the game is crap you don't care about the graphics anymore. That's why i think that the old games the classic 2d's are all the craze i mean they were awsome and some of em were good games examples would be mario bros. for nes now the came out with mario galaxies taht is so stupid i find on my part i mean its not a mario game anymore you have him flying in the air from planet to planet sure it's cool for the kids of today but when they go and play the old ones they'll probably look at the new one and say wow that's crap. (sorry for my little rant heh :P ) but i find that 2D games or "classics" are the best.

Well, actually, I like both platforms, 2D 'n' 3D, but I picked 3D 'cause I like 'em more. It's a lot better when you can see AROUND your character instead of only half his body, :(.

I like both, but there is just a certain charm in blowing a fully 3-D rendered persons head clean off.

i say 3D because the old F-Zero games the tracks are not exciting but in the 3D ones theres more exiting tracks and more anti-gravity (Big jump, half-pipe,Cylinder,The high speed in X(Big anti-gravity fun! :) ), etc)

3D is more entertaining, but 2D is the good ol' days.
