It may be just me, but I do so hate movie based games. Most of them are just horrible and tacky. There are a few exceptions, but not enough to change my opinion.What do you think?

i only like a few movie based games but thats a rare amount the only movie based game i can think of right now is spiderman series

Spiderman 1 for the GBA and Spiderman 2 for the GCN were the only one I played, and they both were good.The best MBG I played was Toy Story for the Genesis, I don't think any of the others were good to me.Yes, I don't like them either.

If you bought a couple or are/were interested in it, you got sucked into it!The companies only make them for profit in junction with the movies.If you're the type to believe that games are different to movies, stay away from those movie-based games.If you enjoy the movie and would like the game, go ahead.If you don't think about any of those, then the choice is pretty much yours.Personally,... I don't think I ever really bought any yet... I just think that they're a little different but still following what the movie does.

Sometimes the Game plot has almost nothing to do with the movie, Like Spiderman 2.Personally,... I don't think I ever really bought any yet... I just think that they're a little different but still following what the movie does.

I must say that some Movies into Games are quite good at times where some are just Horrible... just really depends if the company is that desperate I say to make Movies into Games if their Rates are low...

I like movie based games, they are fun. But before I play them, I would rather watch the movie first so I could enjoy the excitement or suspense from a film than ruining it for myself by playing the game.

There are a couple that are okay but what i realy hate are games that are based on movies that are based on books cause it gets really screwed up in the crossovers

A few are actually good, the bad ones usually are so shoddily and poorlymade that you can tell the companies just slapped them together at the last minute.

Uwe Boll ruined any hope of video games having respectable movie adaptations, not that they were doing well before he came along.

I don't hate them, true they usually suck, but that's also because they are only made to make some extra money to go along with the movie. I just don't buy them because they are usually overpriced.

Movie based games always suck. They rush the game to release it along with the movie. On the other hand 90 percent of game based movies suck.
