Apparently, Nintendo is having some trouble with manufacturing the Wii since they require a lot of time to make. However, I believe that the console will not become an extinct one...yet. I think it may last for four more years at the very least. :P

I think three years. The Wii was just a prototype. They will soon have a newer, better Wii with graphics comparable to the ps3 and 360.

It'll probably last for at least 5 years, because peeps of all ages love how Nintendo innovated the controllers...Kids have the most fun out of the system, i think..

And unforunately for PS3, that's why it will probably lasy longer. Wii is fairly inexpensive and last time I checked, theres alot of kids in this world. I have seen that any game on the PS3, does not stay in the top 20 sales too long. Metal Gear Solid 4 stayed in the top 20 as number 1 for only a month. Next month, it had completely disappeared from the sales altogether. However, Wii Fit has been in the top 20 for almost 5 months now. Due to the sheer number of kids and adults that want the Wii for reasons like Wii Fit or Wii sports, I would say the Wii will probably stay in longer than the PS3.360 for some reason, no one likes as much so the only real competition for NIntendo is PS3.Going back to the topic. I venture guess probably five to six years, pending if Nintendo can put in some additional games that we want. If they keep making kids games, it'll definitely die out quicker.

I say another 3 years, because people with families will continue to love this type o game play(something the whole family can enjoy) then Nintendo will come out with some new version of the Wii to keep up with the competition.

Well, I suppose that depends on the competition. Nintendo has to come out with something new within one year of the new xbox or whatever is next. But that will be like 3-5 years.

i heard something about microsoft and sony holding off on making new systems for another 6-7 years....I'd have to say that nintendo will have a new system about 5 years. What i want to know is whether nintenco will continue with innovative gameplay like for the wii or revert back to a regular powergaming machine like its competitors.i heard something about microsoft and sony holding off on making new systems for another 6-7 years....I'd have to say that nintendo will have a new system about 5 years. Hi Guys,A tricky question for my first post, but I would say about 3 years as technology is moving pretty fast and as everybody know, the Wii is not much of a leader in terms of technology. PS3 and X360 are much more advanced.bOf
