Well, the Wii has been out for almost 2 years, and sales have been going well so......about 4, perhaps 5. I'd be shocked if it lasted 6 more.

I'd say 8, theres alot of potential but game developers just haven't been using the wii to the max yet.

Probably a long time, i mean look at Nintendo Gamecube, they're still making games for it.

All of Nintendo's console lasted 5 years before the new one, so this one should end the earliest late '11. BTW, the new games they're making right now for Gamecube don't even count, since nobody tends to buy them.

IDK, maybe as long as the cube, maybe longer.

Yeah I think it would be 4 years. The concept of the wii is awesome, but I think that could have been increased if it had a better enging to it ie. be able to third party some xbox, ps3 games

it hard to say really, depends on if they can keep selling Wii's and making games that people will buy. it also depends on sony and mircosoft. but if i had to guess i would say at least 5 years

As long as it takes for them to make it so that we're literally in the game.I don't see where the Wii can go from here, except adding more graphical power and banning lazy developers.

Depends on the games they make. If they finally start making good games ... then they should have no issues.

i think that the wii will have great longevity. it attracts a much larger demographic than all other systems sad to say that this might be the only thing the wii is standing on

for as long as nintendo keeps making game systems there will be the wii becuase now sence there have made it with all that motion stuff not making it have that would be kinda like a downgrade so they kinda have to stay with the wii or atless a system like it and i dont see them making a new one anytime soon

I think that Nintendo will be the first to release a new console in the next generation because they're the only console that didn't lose a ton of money from launching this generation. That said, I think the Wii2 (or whatever the hell it'll be called) will be released in 2011, XBOX720 and PS4 in 2012. Just what I think, though.
