I vote Halo 3!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been a Halo fanatic ever since it came out. If you guys think some random game that just popped up for the 360 is gonna beat good ol'Halo then you got another thing coming!

im gonna have to go with halo 3 although they are both good games i think the mutliplayer is alot better in halo 3

I really like both games, cause they're both really good games. It's tough. Halo 3 will definitely be better online, particularly with the whole GOW having 8 billion glitches, that basically everyone knows now. I'll go with Halo 3, but if a friend invites me to play Gears of War, I'll probably go join his game.

I'm going to have to go with halo 2. And by that i mean halo 2 and 3, because they were the same game. gears was fun but the multiplayer was loathesome.

I choose Halo 3, the co-op mode for campain mode is better than Gears of War because you can play with 16 people online and gears of War only one. On online mode, there are bigger levels and more variety of games to play. Most people will most of the time play warzone on Gears of War, but Halo 3, people will debeate on what game mode they should play. thier is also much more diversity in weapons in Halo 3. Another reason Halo 3 beats Gears of War is the amout of people you can play with online, I've played with 10 at least online; however, Gears of War i only played with eight people at maximum. Thier is always some one to kill in Halo, you don't even need seach to find a enemy, the enemy will eventualy find you online. One thing that Gears of War beats Halo 3 is the physical and reality aspects. But I rather fly and drive crazy vehicles and jump high in the air, taking more bullets then average then to sneak around all the time in order to win. Halo 3, you can do both.

thats not a question. halo 3 wins hands down. especially with xbox live that games crazyyeah gears has a good story but its halo

Halo three was a bit better in story due to the fact thatgears of war had a relativly short storyline.but im not saying it was a bad game just short.

HALO FTW gears is an ok game but its the 3rd person perspective that i dont like and gears is extreamly overrated for what u get

gears is bloody.halo 3 is dramatic and online makes games up to 16 people unlike gears. but still you just got to love that bloody chainsaw. gears lets me get achievements that I work hard for which makes me want to play again! I would say Gears.

well if i was asked last week i would of said halo3 but i completed it in under hours but gears is longer and all so gears offline but halo3 online

halo's controls and game play are a lot better than gears. Also halo on xbox live seems to work with less glitches than gears.

I don't like it when people say that GoW or Halo is over rated and don't give any actual reason for it.But I would have to agree that Halo is better.(Master chief just kicks too much @$$)Both are good, but both are over rated.But I'd go with Halo on this one.

i liked gears of war but online play on it seems to be filled with quite alot of kids that dont seem to know wot they are doin whereas halo 3 u can get more experienced people

Well, I guess it depends how old you are.. If you're more of the older audience, I'd say Gears. But for any ages, Halo 3 FTW!

Considering I've only played Gears of War and Halo 3 once (friends place), I'd have to say I prefer Gears of War. Sure the controls were annoying (specially when running from the Beserker -_-), but it just had that 'fun feeling' in it... a long with suspense. Halo 3 didn't even give me a 'fun feeling'. It just gave me the feeling of 'oh... this again'. The plot may be different, though everything seems the same (but then, I haven't followed the Halo series, so I can't really say much).

Ive played gears of war once i didnt like it as much as halo 3. but it does have good graphics
