gears is better because really i'm kinda bored with halo 3 cuz it didn't change enough in my opinion. halo 3 is still a great game but gears has better special effects (head popping, bodies exploding) while halo 3 is just blood splattering here and there. online wise it depends on wat u like. halo 3 has respawn and i like that better then the u die u're dead approach of gears.

i cant relli choose either there both really good games and i beat both of them... gears of war is more bloody and u get more actions to do but halo3 is well... ITS HALO 3

gears of war is better in my opinion because it was more fun online than halo i mean gears could use some better match types but at least with gears u dont have everyone complaining that they got killed in a dumb way. and also if u go on to any other shotter game besides these to after the release of halo 3 u will notice halo 3 killed all other online shooters idk about u but that kinda pisses me off a bit

Gears of war is amazing, and fun gameplay, But Halo's campaign is much more, fun and it's mutliplayer, easily >>>>>>>>Gears'ok! this is a hard choice. i love gears of war and this is a fact. gears is really fun and it is even more, when multiplayed. still halo 3 is the best! i have been a halo fan ever since it came out! i posted this topic you hear your thoughts

i prefer gears because there is more of a tactical gaming style in that rather than just running and gunning

i like gears of war because its soo much more realistic, but for halo i think its way better because you can really keep playing because they made forge and which allows you to make your own maps and its a different battle each time.

I will go with Halo 3 because I like hitting something a couple of times and winning. Not hitting them 47 times and then I get hit once and die.Im not saying Gears was a very difficult game but I like Melee.

Well I love the Halo Series and the Gears games. Halo 3 sadly sucks and Gears of War 2 kills it in multi-player. SO it goes like this:Top 1. Halo 22. Halo 13. Gears of war 24. Gears of war 15. Halo 3

Ok seriously guys it doesn't matter what game is better, each game has something in it that makes it good oh and btw there different shooters one is a third person and one is a first person so it isn't really fair.

I love the Halo Lore, but Gears of war definitly has a better combat system, ive always preferd 3rd person shooters over FPS, since i dont get that gnawing headache.

Halo. Ugh, Gears just got on my nerves. It was awkward and way too difficult for first-time players - Even people who've been playing FPS games for, y'know, twenty-odd years.That said, one level on Halo 3 did make me want to break things.
