Halo 3 for me. Mainly because I have yet to play Gears, and I'm more familair with some of the guns and machines/cars (whatever you call it) in Halo. If possible, I wouldn't mind playing Gears though, seems fun.

Halo has more of a story, and is overall more interesting, I think.

Gears takes way more skill, when playing online.Halo, not so much.Both are great games, though.

halo 3 for the pure fact that you can jump... mandatory skill when fighting enemies.

I recommend you to buy Halo 3, becuase have more maps and mor diffenets types of gaming

I'd have to give up online multiplayer to Halo 3, it's just fantastic. I prefer FPS over third person online. As for campaign, I'll lay it down and admit that Gears of War has a much better campaign than Halo 3.

Halo 3 has to be there's more to it, because of the good on-going story and it actually has a proper ending. I have loved all the Halo series.

I like gears of war better because theirs way more blood in it but just by having a chainsaw it has my vote.

I played Halo 3 for a total of half an Hour and i really didnt like it, they graphics look outdated in my opinion and the gameplay is just average. But, Gears of war was just awsome, the've mastered the cover system, the story is simple though entralling. Gears of War is not just a superb 360 game its probably one of the best games ever made.

i know what u mean i love them both but i think that halo multi player is better cause in halo 3 u can make your own lvls and in gears i love that game but not that much i mean the game is kool but like i dont like multi player so lol yea thats my opinoun

i really like halo 3 more, but i hate how u have to start far back when u die... lol... i wish that when u quit, u can start from checkpoints, not from the beginning of the mission...

halo 3 is awesome. i honestly like it more than gears of war 2. halo 3 has alot of people and so does gears of war 2 but halo 3 is fun for the whole family .halo 3 > gears of war 2
