onimusha i think really enjoyed playin all of them onimusha 4 is the best

Ooooooo, thats tough... Onimusha is an excellent game, though I think DMC wins there... Just way more stylish than every other game I ever played ^^

Devil May Cry is my personal favorite. Dante gives off a cool guy impression and his demon slaying skills are flashy and not to mention the amount of gore the monsters give off. Onimusha was a great game but Devil May Cry can might as well be the modern day version of it.
The silent air will soon be filled with horrid screams. The vague night will soon be lit by the destruction we leave in our wake. The shivery ground will soon be covered with sweltering blood. We will bring about...EndlessChaoz.

Devil May Cry is way better. Its harder, More Action and has a better storyline.

Onimusha's the Japanese wanna-be Dante. Nobody kicks demon ass as well as the original. That, and he's just plain more fun to play as.

I belive that onimusha is easyer and thats why i like it more than devil may cry!!!!!

I don't mind both, I like Dante little more because he is more interesting as a character. demons and stuff i find exciting.

When I can unleash a flurry of body blows, switch to a sword, launch them upwards into the air, and then slow their fall with a cushion of bullets in Onimusha, then maybe it might be half as awesome as Devil May Cry.

Devil may cry is better because dante iz awesumChoose which game is better. The action and the fun are almost the same!!!

according to the interview to the creator of devil may cry, he just tried making it "cool" single-mindedly.yes, it's cool to be sure and it should be cuz he made it so.yet, I don't play game for cool and narcissism, so, I like Onimusha better, (though I think Onimusha 2 is terrible.)

I have all of both, and Id have to say onimusa is a way better series.... its more of a serious thing.... Dante is made to seem like a god in DMC.. when he shouldnt be.. talk about overpowering characters.... atleast onimusha is difficult and has more of a horror theme then DMC.DMC is such a simple story....and onimusha seems to be vastly improving..... two players now in the more recent addition. fun.

dmc1>oni1dmc2<oni2dmc3>oni3judging from dmc4 vidsdmc4>DODwith the exception of part 2, dmc dominates onimusha. oni has a more epic storyline, but dmc's is really enjoyable in it's own way.
