Gameplay is superior. Graphics are nice, but they are not everything when it comes to a game.

Actually, neither of the two... What's the use of uber-great graphics and gameplay if the story does have flaws or stinky spots?

definitely gameplay over graphics, sure graphics makes the game look nicer but if it's a nice looking game with horrible gameplay then it's no longer a good game now is it? but a game with great gameplay and not so great graphics can still be reallyy fun, just look at tetris for example

hmmm in my opinion you can't see things that simple lol (its just me 
)... cause well i can't play a game with a bad graphic system, only if the game is old like FF VII or Resident Evil... and well gameplay... hmmm its a hard one to explain cause for "you" a bad game play can be good and for me can be bad... well lets see Metal Gear Solid gameplay sistem... i hate it 
loool i mean he moves like he wants to crap or something lol... i mean Splinter Cell and Metal Gear are both "infiltration" games... for me Splinter Cell's game play is the best but for a friend of mine the Metal Gear system rocks lol... so what i'm saying is its relative if its good or bad... so in the end you need both (graphics and gameplay) to make a great game... keep [ ]

i have NEVER EVER cared about graphics. Gameplay, the storyline...........those are what matter in a game.

Game play, some of my favorite games are older games that may not have had the best graphics but have stood the test of times because of game play, some games not are too focused on looking pretty, story is also an important factor, i have enjoy many games that were average in all respects but the story line made the game a lot more interesting

both is needed but gameplay is much more important without a good gameplay the game would be boring

i have to say gameplay over graphics. graphics arent the reason we play games, right? id rather have a fun game than a realistic-looking game...unless they were both in the same game!

I think gameplay is more important but I don't like games with very crappy graphic when you can't see i think.

it needs great Gameplay good story line and i am happy bunny. Graphics can be important for game experiencing atmosphere, but if it lacks game play what's the point it only frustrate you.

Game play is way more important I still have like 50 Nes games and I Play them all the time the graphics do not matter at all as long as it has a good story line I am happy!!!

Go buy a D.V.D and watch a movie like transformers to see graphics. Buy a game if you want to have fun actually playing the thing.

Its always a combination of both for me.You can never have all gameplay with no good graphics and vice versa

Gameplay all the way. I mean, lok at the PS1 games. Nowadays, PS1 games look like garbage (no offense, they still look awesome) but the gameplay was (kinda) original in a sense that it wasn't about how the game looked... it was about how the game felt.

gameplay is more important than graphics. I would rather have an INCREDIBLE game that had cartoon characters than another unoriginal game.

Gameplay FTW! >.<I do enjoy a little snuggle with old SNES games. And as for modern times, I love my Wii. Not the best graphics, but fantastic gameplay!
