Another bloody anime or OVA would be Battle Angel Alita.i think i saw that when i was like...12 or 13?left a big impact on me, expecially with the decapitations and stuff

Two words. Elfen Lied. Elfen Lied is quite easily one of the bloodiest and most insanely violent animes that I have ever seen. The opening scene has her killing 26 people in an increasingly violent and sadistic fashion, including ripping their still beating hearts out of their chests, twisting their heads off, piercing their heads with a flying pen and dismembering them.

I'd say gantz or elfen lied, elfen lied was really sick though but gantz had some really err also sickmaking stuff

I'd say the bloodiest ones would be Blood +and most of all ELFEN LIED, really, really gory, from the beginning to the end. There's also Gantz, with some bloody scenes.

In my opinion the bloodiest animes would have to be Hellsing and Fist of the North Star, Gantz, and Berserk.

Hellsing OVA is bloody, Elfen Lied was just disturbing...

Hellsing ova is bloody. Blood+ is not that bloody compare to hellsing.

This anime owns all when it comes to blood. Karin(Chibi Vampire)isn't even an action anime, but the main character has nosebleeds that look like horror movie massacres!

the only realy bloody one ive seen was Samurai X and i think they could of cut down on it...*shrugs* i realy dont see why anime has to be so bloody

its gonna be a tie between inuyasha due to massive blood shed usually in every episode, and with bleach cuz in all the fights they lose so much bllod id swear that during the commercials they stop fighting and get blood transfusions.

Beating Angel Dokuro-chan has alot of bloodshed. And the last episode of School Days is definitely bloody.

You guys should see just one scene from the Hokuto No Ken movie. And how much blood comes out from Kenshiro and Raoh.
