cheating is only bad for multiplayer games, when you ruin the experience for others. I always looked at cheats as something you use for your own discretion. It generally always ruins the game.

if you're playing by yourself, as in an rpg then its not so bad. but of course its more fun to do the good ol fashion way.but if you're playing an online game wiht OTHER people. then its horrible, ruins the game for EVERYONE.

depends on the origonal purpose of cheasting, if you cheat and someone else can't and you cheat to gain the advantage... ie the modern metroid prime hunter wi-fi cheaters, then thats as low, skill less and pathetic as can be. Using gamesharks and codebreakers tend to cause mad data saves once in a while so if you want a corrupt save from over-cheating, be my guest. Then theres the for the fun of it chewating, thats okay, or then you got your origonal they removed the part or something to get to this area when they changed the games language, or they madeone game in a pair but not the other, there I feel cheating might actually be necisarry in some cases. But overall I used to be a heavy cheater, its addictive and then it also causes an extreme drop in skill level. It also lowrs the difficulty of games and makes them too easy

i personaly don't mind cheating because most of the time i've beten the game before ie: megaman battle network, the minish cap, ocarina of time etc

For me personally I only cheat when absolutely forced to. Say for instance you're really into some game and low and behold you get stuck... and you slowly start going mad- then you gotta cheat man.

Only ever cheated after I beat the game. I remember I cheated once in Morrowind, I felt so guilty that I stopped playing that character and started a new one.

I personally feel both ways about cheating. I despise cheating while playing a game the first time through, but if i decide to play a game a second time, i find using cheat codes and other such resources to find hidden treasures or dungeons or optional bosses a great way to extend the enjoyment of a game.

If cheating is fun for you, then I don't think it's wrong because the point of playing a game is to have fun, right? If it's a MMORPG, though, I think cheating is really dumb because it just ruins the game for everyone. So if cheating in a game is fun for you and you're not hurting anyone else, I don't see anything wrong with it.

To me cheating is ok only the 2nd play through of a game unless its an MMORPG. If it is, there's no point in the game since you'll probably kill the hardest boss with 30 seconds.

i do cheat from time to time but i dont its bad to cheat. what i usually do is beat the game first then cheat just to Tomo around kill pwn in the game or i cheat when the lvl is like crazy hard and i have put more than 4 hours into it and i failed.

Ive cheated before normally u should only use them when u need 2 get ahead a level or wen u beat the game and r bored...........but it can be temptingHave you ever cheated? I feel bored when cheating but sometimes it's useful. What about you?

My stance on cheating is that if you've beaten the game without cheats, and without exploiting a lot of glitches, then you deserve to use cheats. After all, you're playing the game for fun. If it's an online game though, then cheating is completely unfair and bad.

Cheating in a single player game is a victimless crime. All I consider bad about it is that your friends will call you lame if you do it too much.
