At least FF VII was a decent game. I don't know HOW Breath of Fire got the cult following that it did. The first game was a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE RPG...-- Kaine

What made Breath of Fire so bad?FFVII was overrated, granted, but it's still got one of the better FF storylines in general. Then again... a lot of overrated games are worth playing at least once.

Breath of FireI just had a horrible plot-script and the battle system was rather cliche and unintuitive. Pure and simple. When I was a kid i used to love the first Breath of Fire. But when I look back at the game I just wonder how the heck could something like that interest me.And to answer your question Scathelock, the best i've seen so far is Halo 1. Yet i'll admit it's possible there are better AI's out there by now. I just haven't seen them yet.

@ DnastyYeh! You rock!I feel I need to defend Halo as well.True, it might be a FPS like any other, but the Halo universe actually has an established storyline. A great one at that. Not much was thoroughly revealed in the game, but if you're a fan, and havnt read the books, read them now. It explains a whole lot more. (Except maybe 'The Flood'. But it still provides some interesting backstory in the events while MC is kicking arse)Ai is fairly good. [Insert what Dnasty said]. Enemies also have established traits. Grunts as individuals are cowardly. Jackals recognise their physical weakness, so when their shields go down, they flee. Elites are supposed to be honourable and are supposed to rush head-on into battle. Units usually flank you, try to get you from 2 directions. Intelligent.Regarding duel weilding, it has been around for a while, but never has been the chance of combining a series of weapons. Usually, its just like 2 SMGs, which is possilbe in Halo 2. But, you must combine weapons to maximise effectivness. Combining a plasma rifle/pistol and an SMG is more effective than 2 rifles or 2 SMGs. The plasma cuts down the shielding of the elite, whilst the SMG gives the physical damage. Also, I'm too tired to keep rambling, so I'll stop now.

This game I gotta defend as well. I can't say it's the most exciting game ever, but exactly how many games keep a record of every movement of every object and allows you to backtrack in real-time? And once again from a programming aspect, there has NEVER been a successful attempt to do such a thing in game till POP. The data management involved had to have been a nightmare in the beta versions of the game.

I agree with you Dnasty, this is a game worth defending. It may not be the most difficult game ever, but ejoyable nonetheless. Aside from the programming aspect of the game, it's fun for a very wide age group too. If they made it a little more difficult, it would have probably made more fans.

Defend it all you will, I've made up my mind. Another think ive noticed about POP and Splinter Cell both by Ubisoft. When I play the game, i have it on the same volume levels as other games. The music is fine to hear, but when the characters start talking, I cant hear a thing they say. I raise the volume, but it still doesnt help. So i go to the sound menu, and I lower the music or effects to the lowest and raise the dialogue to the max, and it barely made a difference. i really hated that about both games.

I agree that the sound might be a little low on the vocals (and it's the same on DVD's) but the sound alone doesn't qualify a game as over-rated; I mean, come on, video games are people too. But I do agree with you, and take it a little further, that Splinter Cell was a piece of crap.

.hack would've been nice if the battles and bosses weren't so redundant. At every boss you would do the same damn thing over and over ... just hack slash hack hack slash hack hack hack heal datadrain hack hack hack. If the game had plenty of attacks you could dodge like KH THEN it would be really cool.

Yes newer wrestling games are overated, but they certainly arent the MOST overrated, no no no, and the old ones, specificaly no mercy and wrestlemania 2000 were some of the best games out at the time, and i mean among all games, not just wrestling. you want overrated crap, try the entire Madden series, some of the worst football games ive played with only the qbclub games being worse. and how could you even think to put a madden game over espn 2k5, that game is far beyond any madden game. any football game where I can score 100 points in a game on the highest dificulty is crap

The only good thing True Crime had going for it was the guns. That's the only thing that was worth anything on that game. The driving and story both sucked. The guns were the best part, but altogether, it was crap.

Still doesn't convince me much about Halo. It's still overated. It should have an 8 or 8.5 on 10. Not a 10 on 10. Even though I played halo and didn't like it as much, I enjoyed it a bit.

any way you look at it, you can only beat someone over the head and shoot cops for so long before it gets boring, none of the games in the gta true crime and manhunt genre have much replayability. i play for an hour or two, then im done, them games have never realy done it for me. now incorporate this stuff into the sims, then you got a freakin game that i might play for a while. make it so you can go to other peoples houses and jack there crap, and make your place look nicer than anyone elses, then run a meth lab in your garage and get busted by an undercover detective who you kill, then you got cops and fbi all on your donkey and other people breaking into your house, that sounds like an exciting game. they couldve done that with the Urbz

Full Spectrum Warrior ... many of you might not know of it but it was touted as the SOCOM of the XBOX and it turned into just simulation shooter.

No matter, at least you didnt give it 4/10.Its all just our personal opinions.

Wasnt that supposed to be a training program for the marines?
