FF7 was OKAY, just not the greatest ever and it had too many damn frothing at the mouth moron fans. Never played Fable, but I kinda liked Halo 2 (only played it for like 15 minutes on multiplayer, though.)Final Fantasy X-2 was hellish. I hate that game now.8 was decent in its own way, and 9 was interesting. 7 was also pretty good, decent characters, poor plot, but the characters... I love good characters. Excellent music, as well- Cid's theme was worth a download for me!

Any pokemon or yo-gi-ho games. The origional Pokemon games were origional and inavative but now they are the same thing over and over agin.

Nah Halo 2 rocks specially since it can go online, but the story mode was too short...so I'd have to go with Half-Life *Shrugs* didn't really think it was amazing.

I find this quite amusing. almost anyone I know who is a huge RPG fan loves FF7 and hates FF8, i liked FF8 but FF7 sucked. 8 kind of mixed the normal rpg thing with the pokemon style where you could catch monsters and use them for yourself. and then it made it to where it wasnt completely turn based, it had that meter thing on it. I liked it.7 was just all around borring. no graphics, no gameplay, nothing. i could have more fun with a retarted midget hooker with genital warts than FF7.Not that I would actualy do that. ....... ... .. ...I think dragonball z budokai 1, 2 and 3 are all extremely over rated, along with all other cheap donkey crappy fighters. the only good fighters are the mortal kombat, doa, the old street fighters, killer instinct, and soul callibur games. the snk vs capcom, virtua fighter, tekken wich is a cheap rip of virtua fighter, and virtualy any other fighting game out there are crap. with exception of Powerstone. that game was the Shyte and they need to bring it back on the xbox

I love FF8 and 9, they're hardcore. A Halo sequel will ALWAYS be over-rated because the first one was so good. The hype was phenominal and it could've played like the ET games and still sold like crazy.I thought prince of Persia (1) was over-rated, it was okay, but didn't awe me.

Half Life 2, while it brought a revolution in graphics engines, it failed to build upon the already over worked FPS genre, think about it what seperates HL2 from any other shooter apart from the engine?

Final Fantasy X-2, this game was so crap it just had a terribly crap storyline i hated the storyline and the three main characters acted like lesbians and it was given a 9.5 on IGN but it was so crap and very boring

I've played tons of RPGs and in my opinion FF7 just got too much hype, because while indeed being a discreet game, it isn't nearly as good as, let's say, FF8, FF9 or even FF4... I also think that the Zelda games are way overrated.On another side, I don't think that FFX-2 is such a bad game... I mean, it's a nice spinoff from the series' features and quite challenging and fun to play.

Eternal Darkness for the Gamecube. It was so hyped, and it wasn't that good. I guess the same could be said of the Bouncer for the Playstation 2.

I'm w/zero w/the pokemon games. It's just the same thing over and over, same goes with FPS for me. To me all of them are, run in shoot, shoot, rinse repeat. I use to love them to death when I was 13 but man they dont do the same for me no more.

I thought Turok 2: Seeds of Evil wasn't good. I don't know if it was really hyped (it came out awhile ago), but it could've been a lot better.

I'd have to say Splinter Cell. It was given all these great reviews and ratings, but it was so tedious to play... so hard too... and pointless. -______-

I'd Say FFVII, it wasn't that great and the materia system plain sucked (although it has merit for introducing unique systems in each new FF)... Cunter-Strike was overrated at it's time, too...

I'd say Halo was overated, I don't see why people thought it was so good. Halo 2 seemed kind of short to me.
