HALO 2 WAS OVER RATED AND THAT WAS THE BIGEST UPSET MULTIPLAYER MODE WAS GREAT CAMPAIGN SUCKSPOINTS were deducted for this post by HadelPlease refer to the forum rules to find out why your points were deducted.

Halflife 2 was not all that great. I enjoy all the mods i can use with it, but the core game its self was too easy.

Final Fantasy Seven. It was lame, predictable and boring. Seriously, whats up with Clouds hair cut? he looks stupid.

God of war.I played and liked it, but it doesn't deserve the drones of fans. It's easy and the story is awful.

Id say the most overrated game is Halo 2. Just didnt like it much.

I have to say I just don't get the whole Final Fantasy thing. I have played a few and they seem ok, but not as good as all the hype.

I would strongly disagree with you about the Zelda series. If one out of the entire series was a success, then yes, that may have been a fluke. However, every zelda game supported by nintendo (excluding the cdi zeldas) has been an immense hit. Ocarina of Time is regarded as one of the greatest games of all time. You could release that game today, with mearly a graphical overhaul, and it would still be damn near perfect. Majora's Mask is an amazing game that has sadly been eclipsed by OoT. It was really innovative, i have yet to see another game execute time travel so well. Such accomplishments are much more than flukes.In my opinion, some of the most overrated games are the Metal Gear Solid series. Specifically 2 and 3. MGS1 was truly revolutionary. It was deep, beautiful and cinematic. But the follow ups tried so hard to meet what the first game accomplished that they overshot the mark. The story went passed being deep and became convoluted and overly difficult to follow. The voice acting was melodramatic, almost like a soap opera. And the characters were so rediculous it was hard to take many of them seriously.Yep... I can name a few super overated games...Zelda (from N64 to now)Final Fantasy (from the VIII to now)Kingdom Hearts (I and II)Everyone loves it but in my opinion those games are not huge. Indeed... They are flukes.

HALO! That game isn't even that good, but because we have so many "Xbot" fanboys it continous to be sucessful.

many many overrated titles. Im a PCer and a little older. Forgive my ancient references.First off Halo and Halo 2. The games are not fun. and that's it.Diablo 2. I am utterly surprised this game sold at all! It is not fun. Even clicking is unnecessaryThe Sims. Again..not fun.Grand Theft: anything. Utterly devoid of fun.Final Fantasy. Boredom in a video game package.The list goes on. The idea of fun is of course subjective. But that is the best I can do. What is boring for me may be the bees knees for someone else.

FFVII for reasons stated.World Of Warcraft. I've seen lots of people play it, played it myself,it's a boreing pile of crap. Controls are kinda boring, Point and click and press a button every couple minutes from what I've gathered watching my friends play it. Designs are kinda bland, story is non-existant. If I'm taking part in a war, I wanna know WHY I'm fighting it. And sound track is... is there a sound track?I'd sooner play me some movie games insted. On that note, I feel the need to state I REALY don't like computer gaming as a whole.

MOst over rated has got 2 b DBZ fighting games.Dragon Ball is a good series but the games (at least the N. American ones published by Atari) have no value as games that are actually fun too play

I have nothing against halo I love it but the hype and such did make it over-rated...Alot of hyped games get this wayand some not hyped games turn out to be great...

Runescape for sure. I used to play it a while ago, but mainly for the chat feature. Really if you (snicker) "play" it, there's a whole lot of waiting for nothing. You aren't involved in anything at all.

Definitely MMORPGs in general for me. I tried them for awhile, and they were cool, but the way some people get obsessive over them drove me away.

Halo because was too over hyped as being the greatest fps ever. The story and the main character weren't that interesting at all!!
