they shouldnt bother putting money into making it smaller, they should put money into making the next gen of psp, some may argue that needs to be the top priority following the ps3

I'm Slightly jealous... but i doubt it will have the same capacity's as the normal psp due to the removal of some of the hardware items. smaller isn't always better (believe it!)

I personally dont care for this because of the fact that its probably got a different kindof mainboard so that you wont beable to downgrade it.. but then again someone will probably figure out how to hack it. they are supposed to be started out with firmware 3.51 so that you wont have any exploits... ok, i like the fact that you have a slimmer smaller type of psp but its really not that different than the other psps.. except the wan switch.. tv option.. battery life expanded.. i think that people will enjoi this. ill stick with the other psp tho.. o.O

Its completely pointless.(I hate the psp anyway) But people dished out lots of money for the orginal now people are buying one just because its smaller? Lame.

it really didn't need for cosmetic purposes. its not THAT cumbersome to bring around (dont be so lazy). but the batt issue is still there. even if you could plug the old battery into the new one to get 2X batt life... it will be kinda weird.though i think SONY should have just started making plans for a PSP2. if they just cut their losses and try to get a more usable format for game media, add the 2nd nub everyone wants and go cheaper, they make something good with it.i think this, plus the price drop of the PS3 is all a ploy that SONY wants us to think we are getting a better deal. mwahaha. a consumer will always see a price drop as a benefit. what they dont see is that the price MAY have been intentionally set high in order to dramatically improve availability when the said price drop hits.;) wouldn't you say? same thing for PSPlighter and DSlite. its basically the same thing, packaged in a new way but marketed to have revolutionary changes that should have been common sense to place in the original design. (what was nintendo thinking approving the original Ds design??)

it looks alright but i ain't buying one because i already have the old one and for someone like myself with no wrist problems and just wants to be able to play cool games on the road, weight reduction isn't much of a selling point

Try typing the word "fa!l" on dgemu when posting, it appears as succeed. Spell it properly though, F-A-I-L without the dashes, doh!

tv connectivity is really cool even though its a portable system. its good because when your not moving around you can see stuff on a big screen and you can look at things more closely.

i think the new psp slim looks cool and i will probably get silver one. i hope maybe the load times are better and are not worse because its smaller now. i will probably wait awhile to buy one until i can homebrew it.

Pointless to buy. Really pointless. Its also like GBA-SP to GBM (somewhat that is). But a total rip off of Ds Lite. Get some original ideas Sony and make our lives great (youve done good for now).

it looks a lot cooler but honestly i think that with the PSP being so bulky in the first place its more the length of the system rather then the width

The new PSP slim renders as useless. It's just 33% lighter. "OH WOW. LIGHTER." I mean, if the screen is a bit brighter..then..YEAH..ok. Get it. But as far as that....not worth buying.
