That means two things:The return of the movies in BIG SCREEN (means go to the movies)The coming on the nexus crawlerYou'll need blue ray because I heard that many films won't come out on hd dvd because of a bad move by the inventors of hd dvd (I don't know what exactly it was but I heard that a major film company refused to release their movies on hd dvd)

I'm somewhere in the middle, it looks nice, HD compatibe (it's what the console is based on), yeah, it's mouthwatering alright, but when I look at everything I own with the Sony logo, I generally run into a problem, so i'm pretty sure it's another attempt from Sony to make me red in the face, then eventually kill me

if you have $600 bucks to burn by all means buy it, but right now there's no reason to buy one there's no killer game on the system yet....

I really like PS3 because it is such a powerful piece of machinery. Sure the graphics are about the same as the Xbox 360 but the CPU is definitely better. The CPU doesn't affect framerates that much (and the difference between the two CPU's are the number of theoretical cores) but for purely CPU performance, the PS3 is better.Now what kind of app uses only the CPU?Ahh see my sig...search on google if you don't knowI'm pretty sure this PS3 gets more points and work units than my desktop and laptop combined. Although I haven't optimized my PC yet, that is still incredible.Also...Blu-Ray movies are absolutely amazing, even on a 1080i television (mine). Everything just looks so realisticRegardless, it needs more games. I waiting for some of the good games to come out. But I still love mine since I got it for $370 with a 120GB Hard drive

i don't like ps3's as i think that they are a waste of money..... if i want to spend excessive amounts of money on a machine that can play games i will buy a better pc. They are good for things like media but my computer does a better job.

Ive had my ps3 for a couple months now and the only big problem i'm having with it is game selection. there is really nothing out there right now worth playing on it

the free online play is one of the best of PS3... but im really waiting for the games i know its slow at first but giving it some years... might be a good one...
