i love the psp but its style and capabilities, but overall the ds is a solid gaming system. i find myself always going back to the ds time after time. while my psp collects dust and its battery dies moments later.

The PsP had potential with all its functions, but the DS just has better games.

i dont usually get involved in discussions like this because ive always had option to get all consoles (i currently have both DS and PSP as well as all next gen consoles). but i would have to say that i would prefer a DS as its more of a pure console than the PSP. i dont really like consoles that pretend to be something else (like it can be a movie player, photo viewer, use internet e.t.c.). im more of a pure gamer myself, if i wanted portable internet i would by something in that's what its job is, not as a side project.

I own both, but I gotta say that my PSP has had all my attention lately. The DS has quite a few games, yeah, but most of them don't interest me at all. The PSP, on the other hand, has a lot more games that I am interested in, not to mention all the other little useful features the PSP has...

Right now I have both the DS and the Psp and I've gotta say I love both of them equally. But honestly I find the Psp easier to take with me when I go out because of it's proficiency as an mp3 player.

DS has more games, but most are kiddy games like horses. ds is a good handheld i had abou 12 ds games before i sold it. PSP is a masterpiece of handheld gaming (in my opinion) less games but no horses u get music internet and if u dont care for your psp u can get snes and gb emulator. so for me, PSP WINS!!

i say PSP becuz i dont really like Nintendo even though it was the first console that i ever played and then was strictly Play Station 1 and 2(hopin to get 3)... but to me i find the Play Station consoles are better off to me than the Nintendo consoles... for the Play Stations i learned the button configuration fast other than the rest of the Consoles... so here is the reason why i chose PSP

I would have to say... that the PSP has "cooler" games, but the games on the NDS are generally more fun. It's seriously just a matter of opinion, I love both my hand-held consoles, but I guess I play with my DS more, a lot more.

I prefer the PSP simply because of its sheer number of features. The DS had that nifty touch screen, but the novelty wore off. It's good for mini-games, but not for anything big. The PSP, on the other hand, was more visually appealing and had many extra features that provided some extra entertainment. Music, picture and video support was definitely a plus, as well as its ability to download game demos. However, the PSP, like the DS, does not have many games that really grabbed my attention.

PsP all the way. Nintendo DS has much weaker graphics. Even if the touch screen is innovative, DS only has a few good games like LoZ the phantom hourglass and pokemon diamond. However PSP has Renegade Squadron and SW battlefron 2. GOD OF WAR CHAINS OF OLYMPUS FTW

The DS hands down. PSP has better graphics and does have some great games in it's library, but overall, the DS has provided much more fun for myself and many people I know. Mario Kart is a blast, as is Zelda and Pokemon, but there are plenty of less "childish" games to pick from as well. Metroid...Trauma Center 1&2...the three FANTASTIC Castelvania games...Dementium...Theresia...Hotel Dusk...are some good samples of games available which didn't have children in mind! But who says a kid friendly game cannot be fun for any ages anyway?
