at this point it's clearly the DS, the touch screen is just the best thing for portable gaming

theres a reason why different video game carriers have started discounting UMD's to 5$ each. Its a failing format.The one joystick design is weird too. Thus, the DS is a clear winner.

I think I'd go with the PSP. Better games/Music/Hombrew/Design. Plus it has long running PSX franchises like metal gear and Jak.

I made this (rather tough) decision just a week back, and now I'm the happy owner of a DS Lite. I guess it came down to the type of games I'd rather play when I'm on the go, so I went with the DS. I think the games available for the PSP are very similar to those available to XBOX, which I already own, so meh. Plus the DS looks nicer, IMO.

I'd love to get both but if I had to choose between one, I'd choose DS.DS has better overall games that I really want.DS has better battery life.DS can still play GBA gamesDS has Pokemon D/PDS has a touch screenDS is more durable than PSPDS is much cheaper than PSPNintendo has been king of handhelds since Game & Watch so I'll stick with the king of handhelds.

Not to start a flame war, but the DS beats the PSP hands down. Granted the PSP is a media player, but really, who buys UMD's? DS has all the fun games plus it's easier to toke along, not to mention better selection.

i have to say nintendo ds is bestone, nintendo has always been the leading hand held devicetwo, nintendo has better games (games more to my type anyways)three, nintendo has no glare on the screen when playing in the sun( or should i say little to none)four. more screen protection. (as in the wee flippy lid screen thingy)now to pspone. psp has tried to make the games more like playstation games... an in better graphics...( not cartoon, as in they tried to make them like real life type)two. ever tried to play psp in the sun. if you have you would know what im talking about.three. (i dont know if this would apply to some but... in the game place in town they have a skill tester which involves stacking blocks ontop of each other... have you ever seen a ds in there... MY choice would be the DS easier to hack for homebrews... the games i acually like and the touch screen and the homebrews are pretty cool. Although if the psp drops any more i might just go pick one up

to tell the truth, i like both of them really much, I have NNOOO idea which i like better, it's a tough decision, but right now i guess i'd go with the DS.so that my vote, the DS.

I picked DS, fun games. I don't care about being able to surf the net on a PSP or the other features, the screens tiny and I already own a computer. The graphics do not matter if the game is awesome.

The DS just came out with an internet browser...I picked DS, fun games. I don't care about being able to surf the net on a PSP or the other features, the screens tiny and I already own a computer. The graphics do not matter if the game is awesome.
Anyway, DS PWNS all...it's killer-awesome...even though PSP's sort of like a mini-computer, and some of my friends are able to hack into GBA ROMS and convert them over to their PSP...-_- So jealous of that...But PSP has like no good games, so DS still wins!

At first I was thinking at NDS but when I think about the games i will vote for PSP (well I love more NDS but i voted for PSP)(i have something against NDS because in my country is soo expensive).
