Mortal Kombat is much, much better than Tekken.1st thing: It's characters look and are waaay cooler than thos ein Tekken.2nd thing: Mortal Kombat's moves are way nicer and cooler, and the graphics are better as well.So, based on the reasons stated above, Mortal Kombat is much better.

if u like hardcore violance bloody mess half naked girls and a pint of falling thro maps and thro walls i suggest you buy MK wich i really like :Pand if u like a better storyline and better biographys with nice combo moves i suggest Tekken, although i like them both as much. Tekken has better story lines to it though.

Tekken is way better! It's more like an agility game, it test your skills with your fingers and it's stresful. The characters are also original, like the panda ^.^.

I don't particularly like either, but if I had to choose, I suppose Tekken. Mortal Kombat's only appeal was shock value; the original game was nothing amazing gameplay wise even for it's time and it never got a lick deeper.

After all these years I think mortal kombat has satyed the same whether its 2D or 3D. But i do like TEkken's movements and style of fighting. Its more fluid than mortal kombat. Also tekken has way better graphics.

Hmmm...I think MK is more creative and original, but its REALLY starting to show its age and isnt nearly as good as it use to be. Tekken, stays fresh and has a much better fighting system. I dunno. I would say they are on par for me. I like the MK universe/story more.
