their both good games in their own right, but I would have to say that tekken wins this one! Only becaseu it came later and used a different engine, and I liked the character designs better has well.

I like Mortal Kombet better than Tekken. MK suits my need for games with extreme violence and gore more...

Mortal Kombat is more fun for just messing around and doing fatalities. What really gets my blood pumping is when my friend is Paul Phoenix and lays them hands on me in Tekken. My King is a Tekken Lord!!

I like Tekken, the characters are looking better. I love games with nice looking characters.

definately mortal kombat, hands down
you can do that with mortal combat tooTekken is better becuase you have you can do more things like story or arcade mode
howcan you even say that if you never played?!?tekken 5 beat mortal kombattekken have more historyI never play mortal kombatand I never will play
amen to that the violence is a lot better than tekkensMortal kombat definately more blood more violence (excuse me kids) but i just love it espcially MK trilogy

I have to go with Mortal Kombat because MK has been around a lot longer and has the whole system down to a science... Tekken isn't exactly bad but it has a ways to go to catch up...

Tekken is the best~ Yep There Is Alot Of Moves~ Is hard 2 learn them~ If u play the game alot u will learn all the moves ^^

MK was the first fighting game that hooked people, with its brutality. Tekken on the other hand is just immensely popular. I'll go with Tekken since its lasting power is longer.
