Tekken hands down.I played it at my friends house, and Tekken 4 and 5 are some of the better fighting games I'ev played.The later mortal combats may have beat the first tekken. But thats like saying a 30 some vetran is SLIGHTLY better than the rookie.Tekken tag was a great game as well.

the original mk on console looks a hell of alot better thanthe original tekken dose on console.haven't play many new version of these games

Pshh, soul caliber all the way! No, but I think I like Mortal Kombat better, but mainly because I'm a die-hard fan of the classic sega version. Sub-Zero and scorpion were the best.

I like Mortal Kombat alot cux of the gore and fatalities are funny as hell but tekken is not without it's charm, i just can't help getting involved in tekken's storylines. Also i'm a big fan of the devil gene lol

Mortal Kombat's storyline doesn't appeal much to me... Only the fatalities and such. On the other hand, Tekken is more realistic in nature (without Devil and all those supernatural stuff), fight for fame, money, and honor. Tekken wins in my opinion hands down.

tekken. a lot of variety of moves and lots of combinations for it. a very technical fighting game at that.honestly, MK is just more on senseless pounding + projectiles.

i agree, def like tekken better, graphics and fighting style are better. More variety which helps not to get bored too fast

Although i love the fatalaties and gore of mortal kombat i much prefer the character design and storyline of the Tekken series
