I wasn't scared much at all. I was on edge a few times, but never frightened. When you first meet the chainsaw sisters, that could give you a good "Oh SHNIT!" moment, but not much of a "AAAAAAAGGGGHHHH!!" for me.

im gonna be honest the first time i played i was scared, the lights were all off, the sound was jes right, and me and some frends wer gathrd round the tv playin and omg it was fun and scry we all had turns and we all died so many times cause we kept jumpin at evry lil turn and screamin our guts out, it was prty fun

Um, in the village at the beginning...I went up to the roof of one of the houses, because I heard that chainsaw guy. I gathered courage and decided to jump down! And so I did, just to hear VROOOOMM!!!!!YOU ARE DEAD.That scared me first...then I burst out laughing.Besides, hearing all those zombies "atras de ti, imbecil" was more comical than it was scary.

Not really scary... just makes u go on edge and be aware of every single sound. The other Resident Evil games were definitely a lot scarier for me but RE4 is still a really good game.

no its not scary resident evil is not that much of a scary game...but it sure freaked me out especially becz the "zombies" are more realistic i dunno that my opinion lol

I kinda have a fear of zombies. I don't get scared at anything exept zombies, probably becase when I was young my freind's brother was playing RE:2 and it got etched in to my brain. But RE:4? Not at all, because the zombies I'm scared of are the ones that eat meat and turn you in to one, not ones that attack you with farm tools.

It wasn't as scary as suspenseful, but I jumped a little when I shot off the side of the bridge and into the water before fighting the giant fish:P Because he jumps out at you and eats you. It freaked me out.

I didnt think it was really scary at all but it was a great game with great story plot. The only thing that made me jump was when the chainsaw dudes cames out of nowhere.

yea i dont think scary is the right word i would have to say more suspence vs scary defanetely not like the older ones where they are made to scare you this one just goes with the story while the others made you find the story and the cut secnes

Yeah, but the game has its moments, like when a regenerator unexpectedly pops out of nowhere. Made me jump the first time I played but I got over it afterwords.

yeah, but not as much as doomPersonally i think that Resident Evil 4 was alot more suspenseful than scary... but the scariest parts in the game were; the Iron Maiden and the Chainsaw Man. that Iron Maiden was scariest wen u first see it on the screen of the video camera.

RE4 is prolly the least scary of the resident evil series. i got more frightened playing the first resident evil with blocky graphics and all.

I thought it was more of a game that made you jump every once in awhile but other than that not scary, needed zombies not weird monster plague.... (My opinion)

I think that resident evil 4 is THE greatest game of all time, even in the whole series! I dont think that there is much of a difference from suspension and horror! Resident Evil 4 is the perfect mix of action and horror, the button sewuences being the suspension, and the creatures and atmosphere being the horror. I thought that it was scary.

the first time going through the game it was creepy becouse i didnt know wat was gonna happen or who was gonna pop out from where butthe next time through you know where everything is and wat happens so its not so bad then

scary no, i dont find any games scary, i didnt even think it was jumpy, i think the others had more of an eeire atmosphere tbh
