not really scary, but suspenseful. probably the most suspenseful moment for me was when youre in that maze and all you can hear are the growling of them parasite-ridden dogs. theyre growling and you can hear them pacing, but you dont know where and when theyre coming out!

actually, I finished many times RE4 to have all the secrets and I realised it wasn't so scary, if someone has 12 years old can play that game because I finished the whole game at that age

i think is wasnt that scary but it did have some parts that you thought what the hell was going onthe first time going through the game it was creepy becouse i didnt know wat was gonna happen or who was gonna pop out from where butthe next time through you know where everything is and wat happens so its not so bad then

The game wasn't that scary. It was more suspense and really, how can you be scared with leon!! The guy jumps fifty feet from a building and doesn't get hurt plus he carries around millions of things in a briefcase. With him around theres nothing to be scared about

Really good game. But I didn't think it was all that scary. Ahaha. If you want a scary game play the Silent Hill series and Fatal Frame series. Creeepy as heck.

def scary when you get to the Garridors, Regenerators, and Iron MaidensPersonally i think that Resident Evil 4 was alot more suspenseful than scary... but the scariest parts in the game were; the Iron Maiden and the Chainsaw Man. that Iron Maiden was scariest wen u first see it on the screen of the video camera.

i love RE4, its not scary but is full of suspense as others have said, ill even admit that i dont play that game at night, though thats probably cos im a wuss. the chainsaw man who wont die and the iron maiden are pretty creepy....

Really. I wasn't freaked out by it.I mean, when I First saw the regenerators, I was kinda like "Ohhh. Crap."But after that, I never got scared. Just too much action for me to be scared.

Resident Evil 4 wasn't scary just because of the fact that they weren't actually zombies that we're attacking you. The regenerators were the freakiest thing on the game. But, overall it's not that scary.

I found that it wasnt as scary as the previous versions. It did get kind of annoying that the fact that a mob of the town folks were gonna jump ya and you have no ammo, left but a knife. Other than that, it was kind of fun, especially the headshots

RE4 wasn't really scary. The only times I can say I was scared was the first time I got Ashley and the battle with U3(it). But IMO that is a good thing since I'm not a big fan of horror games/movies.

Personally, I never did any of the game when you are with the girl as well, so, I don't know any of the game after that bit... (damn, wish I'd kept on playing)But I didn't feel it was scary :-(Thought the gameplay was good, was nowhere near as scary as it could/should have beenxxx
