to me the other residen evils were really scary but this part wasn't one bit to me it was more of survival action game and it dissapointed me

resident evil 4 to me wasn't very scary but there are a few moments like when the guy busts out of the oven randomly on fire or when you think everyone is dead u look over and boom someone is staring right at you 2 ft. away.

the game wasnt scary at all because i can make knife runs except for the professional difficulty, which i'll just flip out the punisher instead:P, it's got some suspense tho, like when you've got a giant chainsaw man u run into while in the middle of that dock minigame and u jump 80feet 
down to avoid him while u hear his chainsaw going off slicing thin air

None of the RE games are all that scary. However the concept of it actually being possible for a government company to make something like the T-virus....that is a scary thought.

my opinion is that this was the first resident evil game that wasnt scary to me. RE 2 was the scariest i think but then again i played that when i was in 5th grade

when i first played it i was a bit scared but after an hour or so i just wasnt scared but the only thing that made me a bit more scared was the snakes that just pop out of the boxes

rawr! it is!! and i love it!Personally i think that Resident Evil 4 was alot more suspenseful than scary... but the scariest parts in the game were; the Iron Maiden and the Chainsaw Man. that Iron Maiden was scariest wen u first see it on the screen of the video camera.

Personally I found this to be the least scary of the series with the Gamecube remake of the first being the most scary

Yeah it definently was more suspenseful than scary. Personally I believe the best survival horror game yet is Dead Space.

RE4 was the first "scary" game I had ever owned, so I was a little scared at first. But it's not the least bit scary once you get far enough. The scariest part of the game is probably Super Salvador, who isn't even in the main story. And the Ganados are more scarier than zombies imo. Zombies you can run circles around. Ganados on the other hand are smarter and can attack you with many different ways. Although Crimson Heads (or V Acts) are scarier than any Ganado could possibly be.
