i'm posting hoping to add more info.the type of electricity is static electricity.as friction is applied between the two materials, the positive ions of one becomes electrically charged. to counter this, the negative ions of the other material move to the positively charged material. the 'jump' can be seen as static.most likely the glass rod would be made out of perspex, hence a perspex rod.a van de graaf (i think that's what its called) is an electrically run generator intended to show the exact same thing, in terms of static charging.its amazing, i learnt this stuff in year 8 (4 years ago) and i can still remember most of it. :D

He gets trapped by a metallic object and when he sees Cable approaching him, he cut off his own hand to escape from Cablehere is the sitehttp://www.marvunapp...verineferal.htmdoesn't really say that he lost his "left hand" so it's up to you to decide

Not sure about that series. I had another series in mind. I did a quick search for it and did not find it. I will see if I can find some info on that. If you have info about it, like a site that give a synopsis please provide that.Right now the questions are still open.

The comic where Wolverine loses his hand is Age of Apocalypse. Cyclops is the one that cuts it off because Wolverine is the one that gave him a missing eye.

Ok, so this is just like Strykr's old quiz, but since that's gone now, we got this one.So, simple rules:1. The questions are random. No specific subjects for this.2. Points will be deducted if you are not answering the current question or you spam. I may even warn you for spam.3. Don't guess multiple times on a question. Make one post, edit it if necessary. I will pay attention to the edit times.4. If no one is getting the question right, I'll switch it.5. All Competitions rules apply here.6. Don't complain about how many GPs I assign to each question. 50 GP per question now, for most questions. For some it will higher.Example+100+200+300The highest you can obtain is 500.Ok, like I said, simple. So, here we go...Stay up to date with the current question!Edit:-Updated the link to the Competitions Rules. 03/08/09 GBATEST

Dunno if this is still open since it was kind of partially answered but item was the Locke of Anubis(sp?) and it allowed the user to "cheat death" by transferring their soul from one body to another by sacrificing their current body. Touching it again would remove the ability and destroy the soul.
